Poor kid played the least minutes.Yep
A young guy. 2nd game into his callup. Blown assignment on the PK. Sully controlling minutes.
Gruden is lucky he saw 3:20 of icetime

All he and Tokarski have to do is go .500 while Jarry is out. They're not.Once again. How is Desmith to blame for tonight?
I don't think it'll happen this year.
Petry and Letang and TJ will come back. The Isles suck worse than we do. We'll most likely play a little better with them back and make it into the playoffs.
Once we get there, I suppose anything can happen, but we'll probably be one and done. It'd rule to beat the Bruins though.

There lies another problem of a long, long list of problems.
Don’t you mean there’s Sully everywhere in that washroom? The 26th is coming up fast... The Pigeon will be left behind us... Just gotta get to that one last game, and we'll be just fine after.
Remember this...
Until then.
That’s the weird thing. The offense is so unreliable and the top 9 has been healthy for the longest time in recent memory. Losing a couple of PMD is tough but a moron decided to keep using Ruhwedel for a long time before he even bothered to play Friedman.Since Jarry went down the Penguins are 25th in goal production.
CDS is a problem. If you don't see it, you don't wanna see it.Since Jarry went down the Penguins are 25th in goal production. They are 12th in goal prevention.
Must be the goaltending….

Fenway Sully GroupCome on, FSG…ANOTHER crappy performance against a non playoff team.
Just go .500 as the backupCDS is an average back up who is dirt cheap. He’s fine.
No, because there are obviously teams with two bad goalies. So he’s one of the best back ups?
Chad Ruhwedel played over 21 minutes tonight. Now that's ridiculous.
No, because there are obviously teams with two bad goalies.
He currently has the worst save percentage, worst GAA, worst adjusted GAA, and worst GSAA of his career. His quality start percentage is 48th out of goalies with at least 10 appearances.
Jarry is 9th in GSAA. DeSmith is 36th in 18 games. Goalies who have played 10-18 games who rank ahead of DeSmith:
Filip Gustavsson, MIN
Kevin Lankinen, NSH
Craig Anderson, BUF
Alex Stalock, CHI
Ilya Samsanov, TOR
Pavel Francouz, COL
Sam Montembault, MON
Thomas Greiss, STL
Semyon Varlamov, NYI
Akira Schmid, NJ
Jeremy Swayman, BOS
Joonas Korpisalo, CBJ
Adin Hill, VGK
David Rittich, WPG
Daniel Vladar, CGY
I suspect Sleepy will be gone soon. However, Sully is a cockroach and will be here for years.Or...
Fenway Sleepy Group?
As I said earlier, DeSmith is not the sole reason the Penguins lost. Nine Ottawa power plays doesn't help. A poor PK performance contributed. Only getting offense from the Malkin line.It is a convincing post.
I would however say that I still agree with Pixie about THIS game.
