Favorite coach’s game isn’t really working out against the divisional teams for the fifth year in a row.

tonight was the opportunity to put in 2 AHL guys let their juice flowing, how much worse can get without Ruh and Heinen, those are little thing you do in a long season like this...I don't get this really don't

Figuring out these divisional opponents someday. That'd be cool.

I mean it's not like they ever see them so I get that it's SO hard. But...

Which playoff divisional opponent are we actually better than? Ain't better than NJ or Carolina.

Might be better than the Rangers. But that's a maybe. Not convinced on that one either.

so far we don’t look like we’re gonna to compete against the Metro’s finest…and the Atlantic’s finest either lol…we’ll be lucky if we can beat out the Caps and Detroit and the Panthers for the second WC spot lol

How are the Devils better than anybody from these teams? November champions, using their supereasy schedule, coming back to earth now. I would take us over the Devils easily. Rangers is a coinflip, Canes could be a problem, yes.

These teams are better at key positions: for example, Adam Fox is better #1 D than we have, Shesterkin a better #1 goalie..forwards are comparable but we don’t shoot the puck lol

I think we could beat NJD in a playoff series. That team reminds me of the early Sid/Geno teams. A lot of run and gun that can be minimized in the playoffs like how Detroit beat us in 08. If Sully went defense first, I could definitely see our team beating them.

Emphasis on “could.” I doubt Sully changes anything and we would probably lose lol.

If you told me Blueger was born in the states I would believe it. Dude his little to no accent at all, him and Pettersson

this whole low to high game that Sully insists on requires really good forechecking and winning battles on the wall, but on the night like this when they are step slow it looks like totally disfunctional team, they don't seem to even attempt group zone entry with numbers, they can't pass for shit, and create open skater with a clear chance, sometimes L1 has one or two attempts like that, L2 is dead cause Zucker and Rust can't pass, well get used to watching this grind

Crosby is a better #1 center.

Teams have strengths. Coaching can make up for weakness. We have key positions we dont have coaching

Aside from Miller and Fox I’m not sold on their defense and their center depth leaves a lot to be desired.

There is no backup plan on this team. Not that I can see, at least.

And I'd also agree that too many guys have shits-for-hands.

He moved to N.A. at age 15. It's pretty remarkable how there's zero accent.
