I completely agree. I don't want to say it, but I actually think the Rangers are executing VERY poorly. Very poorly. They have wide open guys and wide open lanes and take none of them.

sully saw it on film....so he has the team leaving a guy open on purpose. so we can double team someone else.

If he doesn’t get the puck out on his initial burst, he’s basically done for the shift. That’s age and conditioning.

Oh I agree. I just can't determine if he's okay to play limited minutes or if he's complete train wreck. Not that it would matter, Sully's going to play him anyways.

Defensive dmen in their 30's tend to decline rapidly.

I've wanted to give Heinen the benefit of the doubt this year, since he popped in 18 last year without the most minutes. At this point it's clear DOC should be in over him though.

this is it, there is nothing you can do with this type of hockey if you are not giving 120%...we have not created a chance all night long, one Rust's shot off of the giveaway and bounce for Rakell thats it

Shouldn’t be playing any sort of zone defense against this team except on the pk. I’d guess that Sullivan is afraid of that team 1v1 and he really shouldn’t be.

They're just incredibly complacent at this point. Then you see guys like Rakkel and POJ out there actually giving a crap because they haven't won anything. The legacy guys are just going through the motions.
