Migraine is another possibility I didn’t think of. Seems likely.I feel like if it was Covid it’d be more than Letang, it always ends up being a couple of Penguins when it’s that, if you go back to when that was a thing with this roster, it’d always be 2-3 Penguins within a week. I think you could be on to something with the heart or maybe the stroke stuff? I do know I suffer from the same migraine issue as Letang and that can be very rough to get back from quickly, so it could also be that. From what I recall, he also gets injections for his Migraines and needs time, he had it under control a few years ago but he’d be out like this when he did have his issues with it.
Or he just got a bad trim and he needs to let his bangs grow out a little before he feels he can show face.
Just setting up the collapse in the 3rd. This will go from 2-0 to a 3-2 loss. How are we winning lol
I only remember that being an issue for him because I know how shitty it is personally.Migraine is another possibility I didn’t think of. Seems likely.
The episode last week was the second time he has had a migraine close to game time. He had one last season before a junior hockey all-star game, but it was not a severe one, and he played.
"It's still scary because they can [get worse] as I get older," Letang said. "When I was younger, they weren't that bad."
Letang's migraines typically last 25 to 30 minutes.
That’s pretty much the desired outcome at this point. Be nice if Sid could get #600 somewhere in that loss.Just setting up the collapse in the 3rd. This will go from 2-0 to a 3-2 loss.
On this powerplay, so the 4-3 collapse it is.That’s pretty much the desired outcome at this point. Be nice if Sid could get #600 somewhere in that loss.
I watch the other teams feed for a reason. We have O'Connor, Poulin and Pool Party on a line, and they call it OPP instead of the far more logical POP? I'll bet whoever thought of that is a real demon at Scrabble.
Relax, it's 2-0. We won't be for long. How are we winning lol
Lol Bettman now saying the 9m increase isn’t accurate, all the Oilers fans are suddenly getting super anxious again.
Lost to the Jets and Canucks.Afraid to ask what happened the last time the Pens took a 2-0 lead into the locker room after two periods.
This season all I could find is the losses to the Wild, Canucks, Jets, and then they blew the lead vs the Sharks being up 2-0 and had to win it in shootouts. I am not sure what it was last season into this year though or if there was more. I always felt like there was more, I remember 2018 or 2019 they routinely blew leads as well.Afraid to ask what happened the last time the Pens took a 2-0 lead into the locker room after two periods.
Seeing 18,100+ fans for the Sharks game, what the f*** are the fans doing, showing up for shit shows doesn’t drive home the cause you wankers.
They're actually playing reasonably well tonight. You'd like to think they won't blow it, but the Pens are geniuses in coming up with new ways to blow leads. This season all I could find is the losses to the Wild, Canucks, Jets, and then they blew the lead vs the Sharks being up 2-0 and had to win it in shootouts. Yeah that could make sense for this, that Sid is close and they just want to witness history, so lets hope Sid gets it out of the way so they can go back to ignoring this team and make FSG suffer because the attendance going back up is kind of shitty, sends zero message of this ownership and management shitting all over the fans.Once Sid hits 600, the bandwagon will go back to not giving a shit
Only took him like 100 games to figure out 27 has been our worst dman by far. Hell of a talent evaluator we have working for us.Shocked we are doing this without our best defenseman this year, Ryan Graves.
That possibility is probably in the middle of the bell curve. Pens' 2/3-0 win and Tampa 24-2 win are the equally likely extremes.View attachment 932945Analysis: The Penguins Blown Leads and the Two Difficult Answers
ELMONT, NY — The Pittsburgh Penguins have squandered, punted, and otherwise blown the last four two-goal leads they’ve earned, not counting the 3-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens, which included an empty-net goal. Prior to that, the Penguins gagged on a trio of 2-0 leads, including a pair on...pittsburghhockeynow.com
Are they playing well or is Tampa playing that much worse?
I think you know the answer is the latter.
This has the feel of a 2-2 lose in OT type of game.
