GDT: Pens vs Jackets 1900hrs EST: There’s still a chance!

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.

    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Up until recently they were top five in the league in goals scored per game. It's strange hearing local media talk about Elvis like he's been ok this season. He's just been better than f***ing terrible. Not a high bar. If they had even average goaltending they'd be in the playoffs. However, their wheels have fallen off and the last few games have been an abject failure. Tonight looking like another shitshow in Columbus, but at least it's my favorite team this time!

Anyone know whats Lizottes p/60 and other advanced stats look compared to others on the team? I feel like theres more there with him offensively.

Nice to see the Penguins putting up a good fight. I hear there is a significant drop-off in talent from the projected 5 - 7 or 8 ranked prospects. But you can't expect any of these players to actively tank games. They are all professionals, and the bottom line / pairing guys are playing for their careers. The Flyers keep playing hard, but have at least traded away enough talent to be just awful. But are the Penguins or Flyers bad enough to suck worse than Buffalo, Seattle, Anaheim? I guess even Boston could fall into the bottom, which seems just crazy.
