And they have GeorgievSharks have been playing good hockey and scoring lots of goals.
Need a much better effort next game.

Jared will do film with him after this game and tell him to knock that shit out. No truculence. At least late in the game he shoved a guy into the boards (almost looked like he punched him) behind the net and got the puck up and outta there. So that was nice.
Oh. Necas is sick.
Making out with Makar probably. Tight group.Oh. Necas is sick.
Just wait until Crosby busts in the studio right now wearing an Avs jersey to announce the trade

I notice him early losing his man and turning the puck over in the first behind his net but other than that I thought he was fine. When Manson gets back I would put him and Lindgren on PK2 if not PK1 to lessen the load a bit on Makar and Toews. Putting Makar and Toews on PK2 also means they face less talent so that could also be good. One things for sure I dont want Girard on the PK when Manson is healthy.

Talent only going to get them so far. If they played a really good team tonight they would have lost this in the second period. Fortunately, they played a really bad Pens team.
Sure. What an arse of a game. This should've been a 7-1 beatdown, but barely won 2-1 with an empty netter. Absolute nonsense.
A lot of skating, but not a lot of doing much of everything. I got good things to say about Colton, Kylington, and Nuke, but Nuke should've honestly had a hat-trick.
We gotta start capitalising on our chances a lot better.
Toews
Lindgren
Malinski
The top three defensive contributors from defensemen tonight.
Matches the eye test as Girard, Kylington, and Makar were definitely weaker than those 3.
Wood, Colton, Kiviranta, Drouin, Girard, and Kylington with awful nights all around.
This suggests Wood didn’t do a single thing on either offensive or defensive sides of the puck tonight.

So he did the thing I said he did. I didnt say he was bad but that was the one time I noticed him besides Makar making a pass to him and he got his shot blocked. He was solid other than that ONE play early in the game.Uh no, he either won the battle or backed off and maintained himself between the player and the net.
Remember he isn't that big, he has to realize when he can't body a guy to still contain him defensively.
I thought that's pretty much what he did.
You expect a D to never lose the puck under pressure behind the net? I think it's pretty much inevitable, but it's what they do after that matters.
It was a near flawless game by him.
You're being a shit because of his rep lately.
Makar had way more raw mistakes.

Its been a fault since 1998 for this franchise. Long before Landeskog.Yeah, well for whatever reason they play up lol. They made NJ look bad, like a mid tear team.
Honestly it's been a fault since before Landeskog went down.
How do you not know and recognize that?
I love being negative first, and sinicle as f***, but let's at least live in reality and then lean that way.
Some of you have literally went off the rails. We twist the narrative negatively, you don't make shit up completely.
Ya'all have lost the art and just went off into the deep.
Can we talk about Malkin with the game on the line? Loses the puck and then goes controller disconnected on Lehky's EN goal, and then hauls Drury down on his EN goal, ensuring the goal either way
I'd be losing my mind as a Pens fan, what a lazy plug
Miles Wood needs to go. Bednar is finally sick of his shit, and I can guarantee that he's not going to be playing on Thursday, with Vesey taking his place
I never thought we could be seeing a 30+ goal campaign from butters.Lehky is a monster
Some people on here want Geno on Friday. Hes kinda destroying his legacy here by holding on for so long. Sad because this guy was so dominant for a long time. Can we talk about Malkin with the game on the line?
