Truthfully I don't see that as the issue, the team aged out, and because we kept mortgaging the future we traded away countless high draft picks. Regardless as to who owns the team or even runs the team, you can't win when your best players are THAT old. It's time to turn the page on these dinosaurs!

Managment will see this as after the first period hiccup the score was 1-1 so it's all good. Just need some minor tweaks and adjustments and things will be perfectly fine.

There's a good chance they could face off against one another in a finals match should they go to COL and FL. Would be pretty cool.
Honestly seeing them in the playoffs again is a lot cooler than this shit. My God. The defense of having them stay here all Summer and the shit people gave both forum posters and media personnel for suggesting they play somewhere else....look what's what now. This team is paltry - and at best still a one line team. Incredible we are looking at a 75M roster most nights. Sure, fire Sullivan....but holy crap there should be an investigation into how this team is paid the way it is. Core this and core that. What about the other 50-60M? Good God.

Management knows this team is trash! Changing coaches doesn't magically change things. Sid doesn't become 25 again. Geno isn't in his prime anymore. Being competitive is NOT what we should aspire to. TANK! That's the only way we'll be respectable again. Well, that and kill it in the draft and develop well!
