Not grumpy, it's just that a satisfying win over the Pens on a National broadcast is being overshadowed by the fact people are blowing their wad over players who haven't even finished a game yet.

Rangers fans have very short-term memories, apparently.

he doesnt have to be the man now like he was in CLB top 6. Like you said PP time and 3rd line minutes, he could look alot better playing vs. Bottom 6 players
 
thing is

clowe will be retained. that's a fact. but more in depth is moore. i believe he is sauer's replacement and sadly, sauer's nhl career is done. just my take he will not be qualified and richards will be bought out. take it to the bank.
 
I know I know, it's only been two periods, BUT...

The depth and increased physicality is reminding me a lot of last year's squad. I'm starting to love this team again. Man, once Dorsett gets in here, this team won't be fun to play against.
 
I know what it is guys.... WE all got toasted before the game.. so we're just imaging this.. its actually 5-1 the other way.

Kinda a little worried about that especially with the creativity that Brassard brings.

If Richards plays half this well from here on out, I'm not sure I want him bought out.

At least not this summer.

That's assuming he actually keeps playing well though.

As sad as it is to day (regarding Sauer), you're not really going out on a limb on that prediction.

I think Richie lasts until Summer of 2014. No real UFAs or upcoming prospects can fill a top-6 center role this summer.

Cooke is a changed man. I read about it.
I laughed so hard when people became Cooke apologists.

What a crock. What really happened was that he realized he might get cut loose, so he reined it in a bit. The same old Cooke is just under the veneer of 'changed man'.
He was just worried about his job.

true story.........maybe they wont keep this up but yet again maybe they will

If you look at the NYR sched if they can get this game and the next vs the Pens they have a good chance at finishing with a streak.

Not Clowe, more Brassard. And not comparing players, just saying that Aaron Voros started his Rangers career with something like 13 points in 10 games...all I'm saying is let's not get too ahead of ourselves with Brassard, especially since he's renowned for being insanely inconsistent.

But he's been unreal tonight, and I'm loving it!

Won't be fun to play against at all. Thats the difference between a guy like Gabby vs CLowe/ Dorsett.

man Brassard is looking good too. Im exited to see Dorsett before yrs end.

Moore looks to have skill too. If Staal gets back for the last couple of games of the yr I'm going to start being optimistic

if they can get into 6th it would be a big deal since the 3rd place team is not so good

Exactly, this game is horrible, one sided from the get go.

A hockey novice realizes this is a total throw away game. Great for us, we need the points, but some of the absolutes being thrown around(our Center depth is amazing) is pure amateur hour, just being honest, doesn't mean I'm upset with tonights result ;)
