Pens gooning it up when getting blown out?

Actually they don't. Do pens fans even watch other teams? There is no doubt that they are one of, if not, the dirtiest/chirpiest teams in the league.

Actually they do. Do typical HFB posters just stick their heads in the sand when other teams do it?

Yep, the Pens are the only team to goon it up when they're getting blown out. No other team has ever done that.

I'm sure you have data to back up your peer reviewed study ...

Kind of thought people on a hockey board would have watched hockey, every time they lose to a division rival things get out of hand. They can't seem to handle there emotions.

Lol "do you have statistical evidence??" You're done here Pens fans. Everyone else notices it. You have a cheap team. Get over the conspiracy theory.

Something that happens almost every night ... put your torches and pitchforks down and step away from the keyboard.

That is not remotely close to being true. Watch another team.

Pens are by far the scariest team when they are getting blown out. Find myself saying, "and here comes the flying elbows, punches to the backs of heads, knee shots", you name it. Only other team I can say that about is Phi. Pens got some dirty players for sure. Funny tbh with 66 up in the rafters

I wouldn't confuse frustration with "gooning it up."

In that last scrum, the Penguin who sort of started it after Brouwer hit Letang was David Perron. That's not exactly gooning it up.

Even if they were "gooning it up" so what? It's been in hockey forever and now all of the sudden it's a despicable act?

that thing that happened a year ago? that's your proof that this a common act? you just proved my point.

Apples and oranges copernicus. That was an example of gooning it up. A scrum (which is what I stated) is a common occurrence, does happen quite often. You really should pay attention.

I don't understand the Pens' direction. I get the whole issue of making your lineup grittier to protect skilled players. Now it seems like it's "acquire all the grit" and let the rest of the skill win games. So by that, I see Pittsburgh as trying to win with half a team. They need a combination of grit and skill on all lines, not one or the either on all lines.

Name has nothing to do with it. It's the fact a 3rd man came in throwing punches at someone on the ice that can't even see them.

Well they do have the most fights in the NHL this year...
and the most penalty minutes...
and the most misconducts...

They just lose the plot at times in emotionally involving games.

A scrum? We were talking about a third man in punching a guy while he is down. Don't try to change the subject because you know you're wrong.

You said no other team "goons it up" when they get blown out, and I just made you look silly by proving you wrong, thus you scrambling by saying "that happened a year ago!"
