And go.

edit:

+ Sid is playing at an mvp level trying to drag the corpse of this team into the playoffs

+ Malkin has been playing better lately imo. The goals will start to fall if he keeps playing like he did the past two games.

+ Defense as a whole played well tonight.

+ I do want to call out (in a good way) EK though. He's doing some star level shit out there right now.

+ TJ settled in after giving up a god awful third goal. The Flyers still had chances to make it a game in the third and TJ closed the door.

- Bottom six can't go an entire period getting caved in like they did.

Bringing my last post from the GDT, I like Lizotte an unreasonable amount for the caliber of player he is.

If Lizotte was on the 2016/2017 cup teams rather than this team, I feel like he'd go down a Pittsburgh folk hero like Talbot or Bonino. It just sucks that he's on a washed up team rather than a good team. It's hard to explain, but he just has that "it" factor that I feel would have him doing something insanely special in a cup run.

Stars looked in sync tonight. Doing pinpoint nasty stuff. Takes a better team than that pile of tossers to stop them when they're going like that. Shame they need about three new good forwards to really give them the support they need against better teams, but I'll enjoy tonight very much.

Agreed.

A player that would play on the 3rd line where you'd expect him to be the 3rd most important guy.

Then perform like your 3rd or 4th most important forward
