Biz is 10 lbs of bullshit in a 5 pound bag.
He absolutely does have to learn how to avoid getting pummelled every game, but one thing Poitras doesn’t do is shy away from his own shadow.Needing man strength isn’t always a simple task. Some guys adapt. Some guys shy away from their own shadow. Others put on some weight and then their skating is impacted.
Along with a little mass, Poitras desparately needs to learn how to avoid getting pummeled every game.
Yes, credit to Sacco and staff for having great game plans & getting boys to buy in.Firing Monty was the best move possible at time.11-4-1. ‘Nuff said.
Merry Christmas everyone!
I see very similar things as you with him. Maybe it's fan bias on my part in hoping he returns to what he was.Carlo really, really concerns me. Honestly I think he is damaged goods health wise with his concussion issues. He seems unable to process much at all with the puck anymore.
Definitely need that top 6 scoring wing addition if they really want to make noise & you are exactly right about the Coyle line. Can play them vs top lines and force them to play some D at same time. One of the best parts of this game is seeing this Marchand-Lindholm-Coyle line
Lindholm is playing much more inspired and showcasing his skill. Coyle at this point in his career (or cause he's battling something) just looks so much better on the wing. He's never been much of a playmaker and he can just take full advantage of the opportunities that line creates. This isn't just a viable 2nd line but also an incredible shut-down line.
If we can just find an upgrade to the 1st line with Zacha and Pasta, then this team could make a little noise.
They are starting to develop that "it" factor (grit, determination, will) whatever you want to call it that's propelling them further
I listened or read and interview with Zadorov ( can't remember lol) and Sacco showed him video of Grizz to watch so he could see the connection with Chuck. He is doing his homework.McAvoy/Zadorov look to be settling in as a legit top pair. Won't have to hear about Zadorov being a $5 mil third pair guy anymore.
Hoping B's finally hit on line combo that seems to work in Marchand-Lindholm-Coyle.
Five minute penalty kill obviously the key to the win last night. Who saw that coming?
Would like to know what Brazeau's power play goals per PP minutes looks like.
With Pasta out, Marchand had the spotlight on him. He loves that.
You trying to be a Debbie downer here after big win? Maybe he got a stinger and Bruins thought it was best to hold him out till after break .Just pointing out by saying "maybe" that we do not know and to show you that we can lean to positive side in this.Ok hello he did not return to the game does that sound like a minor injury to you? Upper body injury do you not recall him entering that same area this summer? Hello obviously he's going to be out long-term
No info, just opinion, but I agree Monty wanted out. My guess is a non-official deal was made for him to coach STL as soon as he was done in Boston, and he made that happen. It's a headscratcher as I watched a fair amount of the Blues' games lately. Maybe its Claude's influence, but it sure seems Monty wanted out of here. I fail to see another explanation, but what do I really know.
We have something legit twith Lindholm, Brad and Coyle. Game on the line, they are there, down one or up one.
Pasta's rib or shoulder has to heal. Period. See you in Feb. Without his one-timer, he's, well not a liabilty with PPG of 1.0 but . . .
Oesterle unpectacularly eating up minutes until Hampus comes back. Pleasant surprise.
I just don't understand what TFred's game is . . . slower and lower IQ Heinen?
Team (and us) dislike WASH with heat of 1000 suns. Didn't like Lindholm chirping Caps bench after the goal, but the cross check and chirping suggest something lit a fire under him. A mean Lindholm makes me smile come playoff time!

Upper body injury is not a stinger you'll see when he's not around I'm just speaking the truth I'm not trying to be down on anything you think I really want him to be out long term I want the team to win obviously they're better with him but this is what I was saying in an earlier post they should have did the surgery in the off-season had a miss a couple months and be ready for the second half of the season instead they waited and now he reinjured it and it's unlikely we're going to see him anytime soonYou trying to be a Debbie downer here after big win? Reaggravated the same injury they should have had the surgery in the offseason and this wouldn't be a problem nowWhatever you say Dr. Recchi
This was a great win against a great opponent. Three 3rd period goals at home would have been unthinkable just a few weeks ago. Adds some believability to this team
He's 5v5 Corsi numbers are the best on the team and was 2nd last year, which gives us two seasons of evidence that Poitras tilts the ice in the Bruins favor for puck possession, shot attempts and offensive pressure.
I promise you this is not Jack Studnicka. The eye test and the underlining numbers do not show a 4A player. He just needs man strength.

There would be no 2nd half of season without Pastrnaks 35 pts in 35 games. And you are talking about surgery and I have no clue what the injury even is do you?Upper body injury is not a stinger you'll see when he's not around I'm just speaking the truth I'm not trying to be down on anything you think I really want him to be out long term I want the team to win obviously they're better with him but this is what I was saying in an earlier post they should have did the surgery in the off-season had a miss a couple months and be ready for the second half of the season instead they waited and now he reinjured it and it's unlikely we're going to see him anytime soon

I agree and so don't the bruins obviously or they would have had the surgery but now that's the risk you take try to play through it but run this risk unfortunately the nightmare scenario has happened he reaggravated the injury I mean have you watched this play despite having 35 points he's not the same player he has been past few years it's painfully obviousThere would be no 2nd half of season without Pastrnaks 35 pts in 35 games. And you are talking about surgery and I have no clue what the injury even is do you?

They said during the game yesterday that they've been showing Zadorov clips of Grzelcyk and the chemistry he had with McAvoy, and that Zadorov said it really helped.Really good pair. The B’s could keep them together when H. Lindholm returns. The team constructed a top notch rotation over the past two years.
Some men don't really get their man body until 23-24 yoI don't question either his talent or work ethic. What I question is his physical strength and awareness (not keeping his head on a swivel). He's already had major surgery on his shoulder that kept him out 6+ months and he's only what, 20 years old? I say let him grow stronger & gain more experience before trying him again.
