Comically outplayed, our players were outclassed and Sullivan's system was outclassed.
Jarry shat the bed at the end but the team defense was ripped to shreds for like 45 minutes. You blame Jarry but you can't blame Jarry when the team is hemorrhaging chances like that.

Nieto is one of the worst players we have had in years. Shea is also brutal.

Letang >> Karlsson, again.

DOC skating full speed at a 45 degree angle into the net was hilarious.
Pool Party or Glass> Nieto
Aho or Filip Kral > Shea

I mean lord knows the Pens have lost 1000 games under Sullivan where they played well enough to win but found a way to lose so I'll take it

I think we should appreciate the win, but it's just sort of underscoring how we're not actually in a rebuild, at least not a committed one.

You're not wrong but I'm just gonna enjoy them winning games while they are. While there's still a shot at the playoffs I'd always rather they win than lose. And the east is so bad this year that they do have a shot somehow.

Maybe it's just a dead cat bounce and they'll go right back to sucking soon but life is short enjoy the good moments while they're there etc.

Pick's got a giant head. He could barely fit that huge helmet over his noggin.

For sure. No shame in enjoying beating the reigning champs.
