you don't get that kind of money unless you worry about every little penny. It's all bullshit anyway. Sully's owed, what, like $15M? That's quite literally a drop in an ocean when it comes to FSG's collective net worth. It wouldn't even amount to you or I buying a 5 cent piece of candy at the register.
It's just another excuse.
Yeah like Mark Jankowski! When you look back and see all of the firsts we did away with and how players drafted in those positions do, it's actually decently impressive that Dubas has been able to bring in Puljujarvi, Glass, signing Beauvillier and now Tomasino—all first-round picks from the last 9 years. Realistically, these relatively shrewd deals have probably done a decent job what we would have likely got out of said picks.
Nah, I'd honestly rather just keep Puljujarvi unless he directly tells us he's not resigning and wants a trade. I'm okay resigning him for another couple of years so long as the wheels don't fall off. I could easily see him getting a 2yr $1-1.5mil deal which would be good for both sides.
Yeah but I bet you didn't take into consideration that he is quite proficient in forming complete sentences.Best coach in the league since 2018:
-Play-in loss
-3-1 Blown lead
-Swept
-No playoff series wins
-2 playoff misses (soon to be 3)
If that's the best the league has to offer then just fold the whole league
Hey I like Pono, but yeah JP is getting royally f***ed. He keeps playing well and his minutes barely increase as well as his usage. It's a prime opportunity to fan the flames of a former top pick and they're letting Sullivan do everything in his power to destroy that it seems.I know we're all starved for youth and talent but the one dude I think is genuinely being wasted is Puljujarvi. Poulin, Puustinen, Pono, etc. are all whatever. Puljujarvi's shown he's capable of so much more than this team's giving him credit for. Weird situation, because he actually plays a Sullivan style, but he's good at it.
I mean, play 'em all and lock the Hayes, Nieto, Acciari, Glass dweebs in a broom closet somewhere. But Puljujarvi is a dude who I think is going to actually excel when he's inevitably dealt.

Watch your mouth in the presence of Michael Bunting, pal.No way man Pono is a blue chipper!
...
I mean... SOMETHING better be outta that pile!
Cruz is a good prospect too, as well as Koivunen. I like the young players this team has that will never get a fair shot and naming them triggers blokes so lets just keep that a blanket statement. No way man Pono is a blue chipper!

If only our prospects got the same treatment journeymen jobbers got.
They try him with Geno but apparently unless your name is Beauvillier, Rust, or Rakell, you don't get to be tried with Sid to see if maybe that's a fit.My disdain for poolparty is well documented
But gawtdahm if he hasn't been one of our best players... f***in put him top six wtf, see if he can keep it going
Hey...I liked Morozov damn it.I dunno man. I'm jaded AF I admit but I feel like I've seen a bajillion Koivunens and Cruzs come and go dating back to the Morozov days. The odds just aren't good and NHL drafting development is kinda screwy. Plus it's THIS team.
I do think Koivunen might amount to something though. He's shown a lot of chemistry with Broz and McG in WBS. Which means we'll never see those three together in the NHL, of course.
They're not even Jerks in the fun way the Canes are. They're more the assholes that you hope has one of those ugly knockouts in those Ufc fights because of this ownership, gm, and coach. There's just so much unlikeable bullshit with this team
It's beyond the bad spot in the standings
All these decisions that they make, make me hate following it
As much as I've defended him, I've never thought he's the best coach in the league. I think Cooper is, though I also think Bednar is better than Sullivan. Is "a source" @DesertedPenguin?
Why are you the enemy of hope?Koivunen is new jack Anshakov now that the great wheel of shit has finally turned full circle.
"He's super skilled and might just need a chance!"
"So he's one of their best prospects?"
"Well no but..."
One of these days Tomas Surovy will return and you'll eat your damn words you wanker.Koivunen is new jack Anshakov now that the great wheel of shit has finally turned full circle.
