The problem now is that Dubas butchered this team to compete now. His hands have as much blood on them as Mikey.

FSG needs to direct Dubas to step back from the GM role and bring in a new coach. I just dont think any coach makes this team respectable - the roster is absolutely garbage.

I think GMs like to keep the coaching change in hand for as long as possible. Once you change the coach you don't really have any defense from people concluding that you, the GM, suck at your job.

This is why Dubas is waiting to fire Sully as long as possible because then the heat is on him.

Trading Jake and replacing him with a bunch of garbo while crowing about Mike flippin' Bunting as the evener in that deal is looking dumber and dumber by the day.

I don't agree that Dubas is actually trying to compete. And if he is then he's somehow even worse than we already suspect.

The issue is Dubas isn't doing anything.

Give him some time. By the time the TDL has come and gone we'll all be sitting around here backslappin' each other over all the 2nd and 3rd round picks he swindled off of his fellow GMs. Heck maybe he can even create the cap space to take on more dumpster fodder like Hayes for a 10% chance at an NHL player someday! How compelling and brilliant!

Can't wait to draft a bunch of players that we never play.

To a point, I agree. But I think if Sullivan were not here, Dubas would probably be able to waive some of the drek off this roster and replace them with some of the younger guys from W-B/S.

It is hard to believe that Dubas is self-sabotaging his own moves. Puljujarvi looks like a nice move by him, but Sullivan is ruining that one. If we had ANY hope of moving Hayes, Sullivan playing him 9 minutes on the fourth line is killing that. And on and on and on.

I am not saying Dubas is blameless but a LOT of his moves are not panning out at all in part because of Sullivan's utilization and Sullivan's weird philosophical tendencies.

Dubas stinks. Let's stop giving him excuses. Sullivan is here because of Dubas.

The only "farm" we need is one "upstate" that we can send our entire front office... It's okay, there will be lots of soft rabbits for them to pet there
Good. They can all go there back slapping each other over the good jobs they all think the other is doing. When in all reality, all they're doing is publicly humiliating themselves with the circle jerk they've got going on.

I would love it if Dubas fired Sullivan using the same thing that George did to Lenny. Except, ya know, fire him instead of shooting him in the back of the head.
