Even with their terrible start and play, the Pens are somehow only 1 point out of the WC2 spot. I am fully expecting them to actually string together 3-4 wins at some point and get the 12th overall pick. This season is gonna be a huge 0 for winning and for tanking

games played. they are second worse in the conference by point percentage.

We also have the worst goal differential in the entire league.

Hilarious that Sullivan is still employed when this team has a worse goal differential than the Sharks
I bet management is telling themselves there's nothing to worry about since they're only 3 points outside WC2. Sullivan just needs time for his plan to take effect!

didn't we just trade a very good skater (yager) for a guy that's biggest weakness is........wait for it...........skating? (McGoats)
yes, But Dubas wears smart guy glasses...... so I remain hopeful.

Matt f'n Nieto - that is the poster child of the Mike Sullivan era

Sully and FSG make this team shitty but at least we can still have fun from these two lads.

This makes me angry on so many different levels.

McGroaty’s hockey IQ is one of his biggest attributes and Yager also had skating issues when drafted.

Though I will say anytime I hear skating issues I’m a little skeptical. A lot of times it seems overblown. Groats definitely doesn’t move that well but I always thought Yager’s was fine.

What all teams would even need a top-4 LD? As good as Pets is most contending teams already have 2 good LD. And the ones that don't probably also don't have the cap room.

3 points from WC2, 2 points from last in the eastern conference. 3pts from last in the league. #parity. Which is why it's essential we go on a nice losing streak soon.

Awe...gonna be sad when they trade Pettersson. Raksy will be so sad. :(

And, gentlemen, a good piece of life advice - find yourself a smart girl who has good fashion sense. It's nice when your wife comes home and just says "we are going to such and such for something or another, so I bought you this to wear" and you put it on and it looks nice and she's happy. I believe over 50% of the stuff I have that I would be seen in the outside world with, has been purchased by the wife. Or, when shopping, she directs me to buy it.

And, find one that will take the old bananas and make you chocolate chip banana bread.
Wash has two players on here and Pens have none…it’s sad how much better the Cap’s front office has been the last 7 years than ours…

That's a pretty garbage list though. The fact they included non-NHL players means it's purely "well I just think that..."

There was also a list that had Malkin at 101 and Toews in the 100 so...

But yes, I get your point. Who knows though, in a couple years McGroarty and Brunicke could easily be on that list. In 2 years, Martone and McKenna will on there for us as well. Patience my friend.

Just wait until Ryan Leonard comes to WAS this year after NCAA. Dude is going to be Tom Wilson, but with actual skill.

Canucks seems like a really good fit. Outside of their top pair their D is pretty awful. Pettersson at 50% for Hoglander +futures is pretty much cap neutral.

Also maybe the Jets? They have Samberg and Fleury as their bottom 2 LDs

That's very misleading. They're 3 points out with 6 teams to jump and more GP.

Very nice alternative. CapWages.com is what I've been using as the UI, which pretty much minimizes CF.
Of the 3, I probably like puckpedia the least. Something about its layout makes it feel too busy to me.

I'll be curious which of the 3 shows itself to be the most accurate and used. Thestanleycap is a one man show and I think has the most catching up to do.
