Played a great role in all three trips to the Cup finals though.

Plays a style we lack and would be a great net-front presence that we sorely lack.

There's just not many guys like him that are ever really available.

I mean, yeah, it's obviously under less-than-desirable circumstances but at some point you have to decide if he helps or not. Edmonton brought back Kane even with all of his drama. If think if you could pick up a guy like Raddysh and sign Perry, I think we'd have a much more solid group:

Jake-Sid-Rust
Smith-Geno-Rakell
Zohorna-Eller-Perry
Nieto-Accari-Raddysh

With the ability of Zoho, Perry, and Raddysh to mix and match in the bottom 6. I think it would give a good bump to the 4th lines scoring ability. I actually really like these lines because one is a heavy line and the other is a speedy-skilled line so your bottom 6 can have different looks when needed. That said I would also keep advocating for Dube from Calgary while sending POJ and DOC there. Or Hinostranza.

Raddysh is whatever he will cost more than he should because he has inflated numbers from playing more than he should.

Kane is like a decade younger than Perry. You take more risk for a guy on his prime.

Perry would be fine if he didn’t do anything sexual and it’s at league minimum.

Curious how he matches up against Karlsson.

My understanding by these cards is EK65 is the 2nd best player in the Metro by their metrics after Jack Hughes.

Yeah but he actually produces even if he plays more than he should. If he's here, while he might get a reduction in time, he still has the ability to produce. More so, if you need a fill in top 6 guy or a 2PP guy, he's an option.

And yeah, Kane is much younger obviously but the cost is also much higher. Perry at league min vs Kane at $5mil+. That said, Kane is 32, Perry is 38 but I get your point.

Does he?

He has 5 points in 21 games this year. He only had 22 even strength points in 78 games last year. The only thing he maybe, possibly could help is the PP, but as I said in another post, I highly doubt he'd even be given a chance on the Pens. Certainly not on PP1.

I mean, it's all relative. If he produced 20pts in 21games he likely wouldn't be available at a cost that we could afford.

I don't think "he wouldn't be on PP1" is a reasonable knock on him or literally any bottom 6 upgrade.

I don't think he's an upgrade unless he's on PP1.

I honestly just don’t expect him to bring that much more than DOC or Z. If you can get him for 5th sure he would be good depth. But id rather just try gruden at center and accari on wing before giving up more assets.

DOC - Eller - Z
Nieto - Gruden - accari

Play accari up and down the line up.

No one will fix this pp until the coaches change the scheme.

You're not bringing in Raddysh for his 5v5 production, you're bringing him in specifically to be a net front guy on the powerplay. I would hope that if Dubas is acquiring him, he's explicitly telling Sullivan that he's being brought in to help the top PP unit in a Hornqvist style role.

Raddysh is a pretty middling player overall but he's a damn good net front guy. You're bringing him in as effectively a powerplay specialist.

Who’s the guy to the right of DOC with the blue hat on? Who’s the guy across the aisle from Geno?

Geno, why you no smile?

If we had a good net front guy and our PP started converting pretty good Crosby would be up there with the others in the artross race.

Pens would also be doing pretty well in the standings.

Get it done Dubas. No more wasting time.

Wait, how many Letangs are there? The dude with the white backwards ballcap looks like Letang, but there's also a Letang next to Karlsson.

It's like the Angry Hudlers Version 2.0.
They secretly tried cloning Letang before they acquired Karlsson, but they all came out looking a little off.

In all seriousness, here's who is who, to the best of my knowledge:
FRONT (left to right) - Lars Eller, Evgeni Malkin, Ryan Shea, Alex Nedelkjovic
SECOND ROW - Kris Letang, Erik Karlsson, Tristan Jarry, PO Joseph, Jake Guentzel, Bryan Rust
THIRD ROW - Sidney Crosby, John Ludvig, Dmitri Samorukov, Drew O'Connor, Radim Zohorna, Jeff Carter, Reilly Smith
FOURTH ROW - Jansen Harkins, Matt Nieto, Noal Acciari, Marcus Pettersson, Ryan Graves, Vinnie Hinostroza,

I need a life.

To Toronto:
Rakell+DOC
To Pittsburgh:
Nick Robertson+Max Domi+3rd

To Calgary:
Max Domi+POJ+3rd
To Pittburgh:
Dillon Dube

In: Nick Roberston + Dillon Dube
Out: Rakell + DOC + POJ

This would be after, assumingly, Toronto trades for Tanev and Calgary develops a need for a man.

If Toronto and Calgary are trading for Tanev, wouldn't they just include Domi in that deal?
