Bunting brings a lot of what this team lacks. I don’t see him as a straight cap dump.

Me either. Park him in front of the net on the PP and let him get destroyed.

But the main pieces are the prospects/picks. Bunting is neither young nor cheap and he was free 8 months ago.

Canes fans have been suggesting Morrow and Ponomarov as the main prospects back, and I think that's a reasonable guess.

if they are saying it you almost have to thing they are lowballing it.

If it is a first and Morrow I am OK with that. Bunting was a good player in Toronto and yes he is a roster player so that works if Morrow is as good as I hope as a RH D with size and good offensive skills.
