i think we're all assuming that we're getting a little something more than Bunting back. It's similar to the NYR deal, where it was reported we'd get IcedKaapo. We all assumed there'd be a second, more alluring player.

Yes. Likely the Pens/Canes are fine with any remaining players participating in their respective games.

The issue I have is Hoglander, Kakko...these are young NHLers. Bunting is what, months younger than Guentzel. And signed for two more seasons? So if he cannot play under Sullivan, like he could not play under Brind'Amour? Then what?

You almost feel like Dubas wanted Bunting as the Guentzel replacement all along. And that sickens me.
