GDT: Penguins vs Maple Leafs (Revenge game)

Saturday night, Crosby back for a few games now. They buried the Habs last game (not hard these days) He'll be pumped to play on HNC. These are 2 tough but winnable games this weekend. If we split, I'll be happy, if we keep playing well we should win both, and I'll be ecstatic. If we lose both, It would be a disappointment, but I wouldn't be shocked, I would be avoiding this forum for a few days though. Real test for Woll on the road, second half of a B2B. Facing a struggling Isles team will be a challenge though. Playing Tavares will have them amped up again. (they are also playing the Flames tonight, so they won't have that advantage, but sit at home overnight waiting for the leafs to fly in)

I hope the Leafs just shut him down tonight. I hate it when other teams and players use Toronto and HNIC as some showcase platform.
 
Feels like a loss. Won 10 of 11.. Can't win every game. Pens blew out the Habs last game and are high on confidence and heating up. Feels like we are due for a stinker after several games of solid efforts in a row.

Hopefully just my Leaf fan PTSD and we run them out of the building.

I think we'll show up tonight and play well.

Tomorrow is shaping up to be a loss though.

Penguins are at +135 on my book. Seems like great value at first look.

Only thing that's stopping me is that the Leafs stand right now as the best chance-generating team in the league, and they've been carrying an unsustainably low SH% for awhile now. The floodgates can open any game now.

Na we got this. Everybody is playing really, special teams have been great recently. Habs are basically an AHL team, blowing them out doesn't mean much. The boys got this.
 
I expect this to be a good game, Leafs are in a good position to respond from getting absolutely embarrassed the last time they faced the Penguins. Penguins have probably regained some needed confidence from their recent big win.
 
I think we win this one with a complete effort. We'll definitely need more than 2 goals, though

Tomorrow will be the tough one imo. 3rd game in 4 nights, on the road, on the second half of a B2B against an elite team who's finally playing at home with our 4th stringer in net. All the makings of a loss, so it's imperative we get this one
 
I think it'll be a good tilt, both teams are confident and healthy, I expect this to go to OT. Just got to watch out for that puke Crosby, he's been running guys the past couple of games, if he tries anything I hope someone feeds his lunch. Soups in net? I'm calling a 3-2 OT win for the Leafs.

With Bailey, Lee and Johnston now in protocol for the Isles and some crazy rumors swirling that all three + Pelech have tested positive, who knows whats going to happen by tomorrow. Their D might be an absolute mess for the game.

Who knows what to expect from this Pens team, their AHL version destroyed us last time, they recently beat the Panthers in SO and then lose to the Sens and Sabres. So our boys are just going to have to worry about themselves and how they play.

There are a few people not pulling their weight Ritchie, Holl, Engvall but the team has won 10 of the last 11 games you don't mess with What's working

We might not even need more than 2 goals sire. Our team so superior to the other one. We are winning gezames left and right sire. Everytime. We aint afraid of no other teams anymore. We have everyting and everybody. WE RULE AND THUGGIN!! OTHERS IS NOT!!
 
Wish we started Woll in this one. I hate losing to the Islanders but at least the Islanders are also on a back to back so as long as Woll is decent we have a chance.

We could lose the back to back just being out of gas. Win the 2 points and then roll the dice on the B2B
