I dont understand the lines. Maybe the strategy is that they really want Ritchie in the top 6 and the only way his line doesnt completely crater is by putting him with M&M.

It’s at the expense of those two guys tho….Ritchie is a guy you don’t wanna pass and they can’t tell him to just go and dig the puck out like Hyman cuz he can’t skate to the puck He literally makes their lives harder

I’d be interested in a Tavares Matthews duo and a Nylander Marner pairing centered by Kerfoot actually. See if you can build a super finesse line with a good puck carrier in Kerfoot at center as well as a passer shooter dynamic between 16 and 88. And hope Tavares can get Matthews on a less finesse gear as when he’s with Marner.

I don’t think brodies ineptness at offence is talked about enough. He can play well behind the halfway line, but once he crosses it I wouldn’t want him on my bottom pair ahl team
