thats a bad bad move.
Statistically identical on a better team.
would Kovalchuk be any worse than Lafferty or agozzino?

no one knew how much he had left in a tank, also they got rid of chucky's salary...plus we had Jake back than...sounds like low risk high reward to meIf they wanted him, they'd have done it when he was a free agent.
Captain actually dislikes him from what Ive heard from someone who is still involved in the league. Could be rumor, but I doubt it.Kovalchuk actually looks pretty damn good.
And NO the Pens are not trading for him. If they'd wanted him, they could've had him 6 weeks ago with one phone call.
If you aren't going to use Kovy in the top 6, then there's no point and I guarantee you, Sully would pull some stupid 4th line shit and it'd be a waste of an asset. Just not worth it. I would rather see this team go after Miles Wood or Craig Smith (I think he's not going to be available tbh).would Kovalchuk be any worse than Lafferty or agozzino?
Ideally we dont have him in a top 6. However like I said if he keeps hustling and tries to do stuff we are good. My issue was Kunitz stopped hustling and just kinda chilled there waiting for a chance to shoot from Sid.I went on a few hate speech level rants about Simon last season. But I don’t mind him there as long as the line is producing. If Guentzel comes back. I wouldn’t mind seeing a top six of Zucker - Sid - Simon, and Guentzel - Geno - Rust. I see that top six just terrorizing D pairs.
He regressed. Doesnt play with the same tencacity that he did last season. What does this even mean?
