Don’t see him being great with Sid or Geno and once (if) healthy he’s not a 4th liner for POs. Gives him one line to fit on, and I think he could, but then it’s about cost.

There is no reason to trade for Kovalchuk. Get someone that boots ZAR off that line and brings what he is “supposed to” in terms of size and grit and we are set.

If you aren't going to use Kovy in the top 6, then there's no point and I guarantee you, Sully would pull some stupid 4th line shit and it'd be a waste of an asset. Just not worth it. I would rather see this team go after Miles Wood or Craig Smith (I think he's not going to be available tbh).

I went on a few hate speech level rants about Simon last season. But I don’t mind him there as long as the line is producing. If Guentzel comes back. I wouldn’t mind seeing a top six of Zucker - Sid - Simon, and Guentzel - Geno - Rust. I see that top six just terrorizing D pairs.

Ideally we dont have him in a top 6. However like I said if he keeps hustling and tries to do stuff we are good. My issue was Kunitz stopped hustling and just kinda chilled there waiting for a chance to shoot from Sid.

Kinda Crazy Sidney Crosby has only had 3 or 4 3 point nights this year.
