The Old Master
come and take it.
If Perron or Bennett are started on the 4th line, then one of them has to be trade for a dman.
no, the front office needs to go.

They were using Scuderi to showcase Despres.

Guarantee Pouliot comes up mid season
That's not really going out on a limb. As soon as he gets his head straight, he'll be back.
I'd be the wrong guy to talk to about Uher because I would have released him two years ago.
Any chance they release Lovejoy?

they seem to have no problem playing a guy they just traded a first round pick for on the forth line.are you, Agent00, asking me, IcedCapp, if there's any chance the Penguins, a team seemingly more concerned with their PR and public image/perception than anything else, will release Ben Lovejoy less than 12 months after trading Simon Despres for him in a trade that was, on a national scale, ridiculed endlessly?

there's a difference between playing someone on the 4th line and waiving someone
Have wonder how much hinges on Sprong's nine games.
That would put it close to the time Fehr is expected back. If he does just OK, then it's easy to send him back to the Q to make room for Fehr. But if Sprong continues to play above expectations, it opens up some interesting possibilities.
I'm curious to to see how they use him in the line-up during games. Will he see some shifts with Geno and Plots? Will they try him on his off wing with Sid and Kessel? Or will they try him as Sid's RW and give Geno a few shifts with Kessel?
I'm starting to feel like Alice ... I've already thought of 10 impossible things before tea time
Trading another young talent who deserved better for pennies on the dollar sounds more frightening than interesting to me.

- If Sprong sticks and the Pens don't do anything stupid, this is easily the best fwd depth they will have had in the Crosby era.
The question is which RW gets traded to make room for Sprong. Bennett or Perron? Somewhere the Ducks' GM perked up.
Ahahahahahaha, Pens.
In all honesty, even if they trade Perron for a defenseman, I'd still say that it's the best forward depth they've ever had. Dupuis-Bonino-Sprong and Cullen-Fehr-Bennett (or Fehr-Cullen-Bennett) is a crazy good bottom-6.
