Funny how the Richards, Gabby, Nash line was supposed to be the savior last season, Gabby is out, Richards will be bought out and Nash may not play for long while.

Brad has come down back to earth.

Idk man, Richards still looks good to me. He's making smart plays and nice passes. He's never been that fast of a player. He is 100x better than he was last season. It's not like he was going to have a 50 goal season anyway, never has.

Seems like Milbury has it out for the Rangers and is also not paying attention. The Rangers are 7-8 after 15 games, not the end of the world. They had a few horrible games and it makes people think that these are the same Rangers. Since they came back east they had one real hiccup against NJ with an injured Lundqvist giving up bad goals, mind you.

Yup. Some of these analysts talk about the Rangers as if they as a hopeless team, as if they look like the Flyers or Sabres. They have played strong and have looked solid for a while now, even in their losses.

Oh definitely. It's like night and day. He went to being the sure buyout candidate to the maybe candidate, coupled with Nash's injury.

Sure, he is better than last season, but the baseline shouldn't be last season, he is still getting paid $9M ($6.67M cap hit), he is not living up to it.

So this thread after hours is the old OT thread?
Or is that supposed to be a secret?

Where is a will, there is a way

He's getting paid $6.67 as far as we're concerned and as far as I'm concerned, he's living up to it. He's been scoring important goals, earning his assists, 5-7-12 in 15GP is as good as we need him to be. Considering that abysmal start we had and the offense that's only coming together in the last handful of games, he's doing just fine.
