No shame in losing in OT to the Bruins. Boston is probably the best team in the entire league when at full strength.
It's nothing to do with the bruins ....the pens would have found a way to lose against 75 percent of the teams ....
5 straight loses, one blown 3-1 lead to Edmonton, one loss against Calgary where the shots were at one point like 25-4, multi goal loss against Vancouver, followed by a multi goal loss against Seattle, and now a blown 5-2 lead against Boston at home.

Anyways this is def not a jinx thread
A product of their own success and still having one of the best players in the world. ....but the ship sailed....sailed long ago actually. Old. Slow. Tired. Small. Soft.
Too many games we watch them get out hustled and outcoached. Sure hextall has alot of blame here as resigning Kapanen was a bad move. Petry has been a disaster. Desmith as well. Not dumping zucker . Overpaid for letang and Malkin for nostalgic reasons but they haven't been key reasons why this is failing. So who is most to blame ??? Dumoulin?? Jarry ? McGinn? Carter??
It's Sullivan and yet putting another coach in there won't really help. That's called being in the mushy middle ....cant look back and can't go forward.

They've been in competitive games, and with the veterans that team has they're probably going to be on auto pilot till playoffs
