Finnish broadcast always hated Subban for whatever reason when watching Devils games. It got almost tiresome complaining. Like okay, there is one has been player making 9 million on a contract not even signed by the team he is playing for and somehow you can only talk about him and not anyone else of the 20 player roster.

Its almost like every insert about Devils would start like "oh Devils? haha no wonder theyre bad, they have PK Subban making 9 million, oof he is not a 9 million player" when we had no cap problems what so ever.

100% agree. And then they'd continue to scrutinize everything Hughes did and pointing all of his defensive misplays (which he did have a lot of in the first few seasons).

But indeed, they were like a broken record in that sense. Esp. the whining on the Subban cap hit when the team had no cap issues what-so-ever..
