May be Okhotyuk resting before being traded in package for Meier.

I hope not. Id way rather move Bahl than Okhotiuk. Okhotiuk is the better and more needed type D we need. He has an edge that Bahl lacks.Okhotiuk will get it figure out when to step up and crush guys and when to sit back. Once he does , he will be a much needed D

When you're a defenseman with such little skill as Bahl possesses, you need to at least be good at defending and Bahl isn't even good at that.

He had a nice start to the year and last call up last year, but he's probably just another Steven Santini.

technically we have cap space for next year for both Meier and Bratt. So yeah, they actually can do it. The question is what Fitz ready to give and what Sharks wants to trade for. May be they don`t interesting in our 1st and Holtz, and on the other hand Fitz isn`t ready to give something more. It could be the opposit. will see.

Wood’s main issue is that he’s extremely stupid and doesn’t know what to do in the ozone or dzone.

Wood is good for skating up his wing amd tryig to beat the Dman wide. Closes his eyes and rips a shot or just bulldozers over the goalie.
Other than that and beating out icings …. He doesmt do much more than your average 4th liner . No way in hell he should be extended for what he currently makes .

I like Okhotiuk a lot. He was in my top-5\6 prospect list before previous season. But we have Luke, Shaq, Vilen and even Orlov. Would be sad for me to lose him, but Meier is Meier.

Looking at the Nico hit replay, I'm pretty sure he gets buttended in the sternum/ribs on the first hit. He was rubbing that spot in every 'wincing on the bench' shot thereafter.

It would probably be Holtz , 1st plus a player like Bahl. And I’d prefer to add Bahl to that package instead of Okhotiuk …..

Yeah but we haven’t seen those one or two solo rushes a game either for about a month. He’s been invisible.

To me the thing with Bahl and Okh is that I think theyre gonna be same level player if they hit their full potential. Not gonna lie, I'd rather let Bahl cook simply for his size and reach. If he becomes a top-6 dman for us, it'd be more valuable than Okh being that guy. Thats just my viewing of it. I dont really like either one of them so far and hope to bring in another D to play with Smith in the playoffs.

Yeah I think Fitz will likely add a vet D for the playoffs. Maybe a Schenn or the like.

Why would they want Bahl in a package when they can have a much better prospect on defense. Ok probably won't do it either, my guess is they would want someone like Vilen or Muk.

It's genuinely baffling. I guess we'd rather have Boqvist and his 4 points in 25 games taking over for Nico rather than shifting actual good players up the lineup.

The love affair with anchoring Haula to Hughes is bizarre.
