Very very weak by McDonagh too, as others have pointed out. That's not the guy I have watched chase a player on the backcheck after an offensive foray and strip the puck from him.

I'd rather see Dale Purinton on the PP than Girardi at this point, would give the same production.

lol a dale purinton shout out, never thought id hear his name again, i liked him as a thug

Seriously guys, blaming that last goal on McDonagh? The guy was jumping into the offense on a PP and we just give the puck away. What do you want him to do, teleport himself back?

BTW, Hank flat on his stomach again. WTF?

Did you watch him coast down the ice as the trailer?

Well. It would be nice if he tried to skate back

LOL Hank was hung out to dry there. Nash and St. Louis are the main culprits with the turnover but McD glided back and allowed Sutter a freebie.

1) we can do it boys! 0 for 40 here we come!!!

2) what the **** was Girardi doing on that goal

That goal was mostly on McD. He coasted while Suter skated. McD goes for a half assed stick lift at the last moment, too late.

Honestly, there have been awful plays where it was possibly because of his shoulder, but honestly his head isn't into it. The guy just looked like Nash on that play. I'm so disappointed into him. I don't care if your shoulder hurts, he just dogged it there. DOGGED it. My favorite player all season and he is just dogging it out there. It's not all his shoulder. He's not giving a **** out there.

Not sure how anyone can defend Rick nahs even Dactyl. I understand beign snakebitten but he has been snakebitten for 2 straight playoffs. Also how many times did he miss Kreider wide open on a rush?

Fault all on Nash, G, McD, and Hank on that goal. In that order.

If Scott Arniel still has a job when this season ends, whenever that may be, I... I.... I don't know.

Since when do the ******* Penguins play defense?

This has been 1970's Canadiens-esque.

I know some around here will criticize every Ranger move, but I'm starting to think the Penguins are the best defensive team I've seen this season.

THEYRE PLAYING WITH 5 DEFENSEMEN! Our offense is awful. We cant pass. We can't shoot. Period. They have Older-than-Dirt Paul Martin.

And this without Orpik in the lineup.

Rangers getting schooled by a 5 D rotation.Classic.

I've watched all the other games this playoffs and it amazes me time and time again how with a formidable star power on par with any other teams WE S*IT THE *****ING BED EVERY *****ING TIME!!! IM TIRED OF IT!!!

At the end of the day our woes start and end with delegating huge funds to underperforming forwards who do not meet expectations.

You cannot be a contender when you are paying Nash $7.8M, St. Louis $5.5M, etc, and get these kind of performances on a routine basis and win.

Chicago is paying Toews/Kane a good salary ($6.6M I believe), but they meet the expectations of their contract. Those are funds delegated to performers.

Crosby/Malkin are two players (outside of Crosby this post season) who make large salaries but generally perform strong consistently enough.

Kings have Kopitar/Doughty (I know a defense man) making good salaries, but they perform well when it matters.

We simply will never be a contender with these kinds of contracts on our team (and that includes Richards despite having a better post season than either Nash or MSL).
