PIT 16-15-5 at NYI 13-15-7

The most surprising thing about this year, is how many teams have dogshit records like us

Is this parity? Two winning teams, two losing teams, and ten .500 teams?

The true question for this game is not whether the Isles will win again(they will) , it’s how many goals will Brock Nelson and Anders Lee score lol…can we keep them to one apiece?

GF/G 15th. PP 7th. PK 8th. GFAx 17th....GA/G 31st.
We'd actually be a pretty solid team if we could defend at even-strength worth a damn. Massive improvements in a few areas.
Stats probably look better after Kris and EK cut down on those pressured lateral passes along the blueline. Also the team as a whole isn’t automatically passing back to the blueline when they run out of other options. They’ve been taking the puck to the net or they’re getting it to the corner instead of the high risk passes that usually get intercepted and go the other way for odd man’s.

There seems to be some tacit understanding between the players and the coach that isn’t going to happen.
