I've been clamoring for a 3c since the eighth grade picnic. Sheahan as a 4c would be very solid IMO.
 
Oleksiak for a 4th was a good trade. He does bring some needed size and skates reasonably well. He is 25 and may develop with Gonchars' help. In short, get the center to help Sid and Geno and you have the makings of a good fourth line, Sprong, Hags with a quality 3rd line center can be a good line and then Sid, Geno, Kessel, Horny, Rust when back, and a decent LW and that is pretty good.

I remember there was one shift Geno was centering Guentzel and Sprong and G went back to support defense immediately.Kind of interesting. I don't think he trusts the young guys and Sully never put them back together the rest of the game.
 
Kind of a fluke game getting those goals from the 4th line, that wouldn't happen again all season.

Sid and Letang still look terrible, nothing will change with this team as long as those players keep on playing like this.

Philly was 8-4 in Dec, and just smacked around TBL their last game, so it’s not like they have been playing poorly.

I have been asking for a big physical D man for nearly a decade, I love the Big Rig.
 
We were very opportunistic tonight, something we haven't seen much from this team this season. Hopefully we can build on that.

USA getting worked right now in the QF. Gotta get a win here. Incredible goal by Russia.

And for the Pens.. we can't control anything but hopefully getting some points. Have to get points. Have to. Tonight we got 2. We need to go on a run. And the run needs to start somewhere. Sid and Letang are going to need to be much better if we are going on a run.

But whatever. Hopefully tonight was a start.

He's way better than I thought he would be and he's only 25？That's a plus.
 
It's so awesome to have an easy win. Is this like the 4th of the year? I just hope this is a start of a good week. Really need to take care of business against the Canes and Isles. Hopefully we're not shaking our heads in 2 nights with this game already a distant memory. Let it be a stepping stone.
 
Missed most of the game, I was passed out on the couch with the game on. Took some Nyquil+cough medicine and I'm still out of it. f***in sickness!
