Getting some help on the scoreboard too and now we are just one point out of that 2nd wildcard. Sure, the Canes have the games in hand, but if we beat them in Pittsburgh in the upcoming game, we might be in. It´s crazy that our deficit is not that gross yet.

Nah. More of a Zack Smith-type.

That's exactly the player I think the Penguins should target for Malkin's LW.

I wish the Penguins could pull off both Smith and Brassard from Ottawa. That solves so many issues this team has, I just don't see how they could reasonably do that.

Nope. They don't have a LW for Geno in this organization. Their best option for RW isn't playing with him either.

I think Simon would be good with Malkin as long as Kessel isn't the RW.
Simon stops and creates time, and makes nice passes, isn't spastic like a Sheary.

That said, Flyers are bad. Like legitimately bad. They suck. It´s fine. But if we just squeeze to the playoffs and have to play Tampa, it would be ugly. I am watching a lot of Tampa games this year. They look almost unplayable out there. We need to climb, climb and then climb some more.

Sprong would have to go in that trade.

- Sully for not playing Sprong with Malkin.

He doesn't want to be wrong. Why not help your young players be successful rather than making it harder for them.

Sully quickly getting on my bad side.

I'm glad we got the two points, it seems like every games a struggle, not tonight though. Good way to start the year I guess.

Because playing Sprong with Malkin will show ALL OF THEM how wrong they've been.

Good stat I just saw: the Penguins are 7-3 against the Metro this year. That is a really encouraging stats, especially with how poorly they have played this year. Metro games are definitely the most important games on the schedule and they haven't played that many of them yet. They're extremely well set up to make a run in the 2nd half of the season, with something like 20 of 42 games left against the Metro.

Get Sheahan to L4 and it will be a good line. I'm telling you, Reaves can play with the right fit. This is the second time I remember seeing Sheahan and Reaves together, and this is the second time they put the puck in the net.

The other time was with Hagelin.
