Well if they do that to Sutter, I guess he's got a pretty good sense of humor off camera

Had a chance to ask Penner what he thought of Sutter and he said he loves him and he's an awesome coach. Seems like a coach who knows how to treat his players and knows how to push the right buttons.

The guy with the stache' in the middle of that picture looks like he should be part of a barber shop quartet with Mike Brown. Throw in Burns and Thornton too, to round it out.

They have a lot of time to go on tour now that their season is doneski.

You know, I think I agree, Sutter is a great great coach. Terrible GM, but great coach. Although, it probably doesn't hurt that the Kings have arguably a top 5 player at every position. Kopitar for Forward, Doughty on D, and Quick in net. Some teams may have 1, or 2, but not many that I can think of have all 3. You could probably throw Carter in there in the top 10 for Forwards as well. Dean Lombardi created a real gem of a roster here. Great balance of skill, heart, toughness, leadership, veterans.

This team is a special one I am thinking.

Well here's to hoping that Sutter comes out with a plan from left field and catches the Ducks off guard and steals one of the first 2....

In reality I'll just be happy if some how Toffoli doesn't find his way to the 4th line again and King/Richards/Carter isn't the 2nd line to start the series. You never know with Sutter... Lewis could end up on any line.... Oh yeah and please don't start the series with Pearson on the bench.

Edit: It's hard to stay mad at Sutter... This come back from 0-3 to crush the Sharks souls is probably one of the sweetest moments in recent Kings history. Only thing that would make it better would be Sharks make some moves, destroy the team and end up in a rebuild like Vancouver...

I'm wondering when this photo was taken, because they were never in a position to sweep the Kings in San Jose.

Perhaps from last season, when they did indeed sweep Vancouver there?
