Richards should have just flat out dive tackled him if he wasn't going to tie up the stick.

But that would require Richards to do something useful. I blame Sutter for even having him out there protecting a lead.

Oh well, maybe he scores in OT to make up for this season

Do anything to get him away from that puck. I HATE those kinds of goals where a player just whacks away a couple times while a bunch of players are right there. Just do SOMETHING.

Toffoli has been garbage too, lost plenty of puck battles.

One 80/20 puck with zero effort.....

Also has been caught up ice a few times, on the wrong side of the puck due to cheating....

Yet he's still been more effective in this game than the aforementioned three. I mean, we can understand why guys like Regehr, Mitchell and Greene aren't the same players due to injuries and aging, but what's the excuse for Williams, Brown and Richards? They didn't miss large chunks of games the past couple seasons. They haven't been hampered by any lingering issues. And they are in their prime. These guys should still be productive players.

Whole team is getting their butt kicked, and they look powerless to do anything about it.
