If the Kings have that much turnover, don't be surprised if they don't even make the playoff's next year.

Vey is just not a good Center, much better Winger.

McNabb is most likely a 7th Defender next season, it takes time for guys like him (slow foot speed) to adjust to NHL speed.

Pearson/Toffoli have a lot of work too do still.

To be fair to Ziggy he's not considered one of the best goalies in the league. Quick is. He didn't play like it this series though. Hopefully next year he'll be back to form and hopefully watch some tape on San Jose and improve his (already impressive) game.

He dosn't deserve a pass, but nobody does on this team. Dean needs to retool, starting with the mobility of the defence. A first round loss for this team, as surprised as many may seem, is a good thing for this franchise. Out with the old, and in with the new, especially with the defence.
There are no dynasties anymore. Seems some people don't realize that in the NHL it's not a cup every 1 or 2 or 3 years.

And the fact the Sharks purposely targeted Drew Doughty and not PUNISHED for it is not even a laughing matter.

Sounds good to me. There's just too many players that are virtually dead weight and should be replaced.

The big issue is that we just traded our best center prospect in Fasching, so you really have to look at the long term when you consider moving Richards, unless the plan is to move Carter to center full time. Brown, as much as I'd celebrate the day he's traded, will likely not be moved because he's the captain and the "one down year" logic. Williams only has one more year on his contract and honestly has the least value of the three.

I'd think Buffalo would bite a Richards for Ehrhoff straight up if we ate a portion of his salary. That may be something to look into.

Ideally, we obtain a top four defenseman over the offseason, Mcnabb is with the team full time, and Regehr can be our seventh. Doughty, Voynov, Muzzin, Martinez should be the core we build around on the blue line.
