I wouldn't underestimate Brent Burns, especially when he'd be asked to play both blue and red lines. Thankfully, we have reinforcements coming up and fill up holes and mitigate a potential two-line threat at the very least.

As for the "Beat L.A.!" chants, this isn't the NBA, where that chant originally happens. At one point, the Los Angeles Kings singlehandedly shouldered California hockey, which resulted to the emergence of the Ducks and the Sharks; I even pointed that fact out to most Sharks fans I ran into in real life, which shocked most of them. I swear, it's like they're in the Sharks wagon only for that chant.

Burns always seems to do something good for the sharks against the kings.
The sharks will be a tough team.
Need Quick to steal at least two.

Sharks definitely didnt play very well this month.

They are one of the deepest teams regarding forwards, but I've always said Niemi is an above average goalie at best and their defense is not elite.

Kings should beat them.

I like the new format, and do not believe Colorado would be easy. Plus can't the Wild still catch us. So who we would play in the old format is still not decided.

I think we would have an easier time against the Sharks than the Avs. The Avs have had a hot goaltender and are young and very fast with a lot of offense. Reminds me of Chicago except the Avs may have better goaltending.

I was surprised by how many Sharks fans were at the Ducks game last night. And what a treat it is to go to a game like that where you have no dog in the fight and can just be a fly on the wall. Ducks fans need to throw their holier than thou act in the garbage because a large amount of fans at their games are as equally Pejorative Slured as stuff I've seen at Staples. Screaming matches, insults.. the whole shebang going on upstairs there.

BTW.. I missed a Kings game to go to a Ducks game because it was work related.

Wasn't a factor back in 2011. I embrace this as a challenge for the team, so that they shall finally prove they can win anywhere.

I think the kings have a pretty decent road record as a whole, however against San Jose they need to improve.
PP has looked better since Gaborik came in. Our PK is no longer a slamn dunk to kill off most penalties.

Luckily we've at least taken one up there this year, so that psychological crutch is gone. But I agree, it's massive when these teams meet. matchups and faceoffs can be the margin between us and the Sharks; it's close.

I haven't got my quarterly bonus yet and 7 kings home games against the ducks would piss the wife off lol, if/when we get to the next round I hope the ducks can but will not be broken hearted if they don't GO KINGS GO

PS does this feel like 2012 to anyone else, playing a better team (finished ahead of us) on the road that is favored to beat us by most but has some question marks we can exploit and get momentum going,, and heres to phx beating out the stars, they are young and fast but like ziggy said earlier its all about how we are playing instead of who
