Thanks.Don't think the Bruins would be too keen on trading him. He can play on any line, any position, has chemistry with Pasta... Definitely a down year compared to the last 2 years for him (like pretty much everyone on the team) but don't think they'd want to sell low.
Obviously doubt he's untouchable but I would think the offer would need to be above his value.
Whether it's the right thing to do or not (I'm not sure), don't think there's any indication they're going to completely blow it up and rebuild. Think they traded the guys that wouldn't be here past next season and intend to spend money and fill out the roster, hoping the guys who had a down year rebound and for us to stay healthy next year.Thanks.
Where do you think Boston goes from here?? rebuild or retool?
Agreed. You guys still have a good no.1 D, a solid starting goalie and a top 10 forward in the league. Though to rebuild with those players.Whether it's the right thing to do or not (I'm not sure), don't think there's any indication they're going to completely blow it up and rebuild. Could also be completely blown up at the draft but I don't see that happening with our ownership and/or if Sweeney stays.
I would give Calgary's 1st and a prospect (Mailloux as D or Kapanen as C). Both prospect are set to make NHL next season imo.Unless the Bruins are getting a 1st+ I would just hang onto him.

Decent price on his contract but I doubt he ever performs in the playoffs, given how he routinely quit when the going got tough in NJ. Some assists for the B's but only one playoff goal. I would not give up a 1st for him no matter what type of team you are, 2nd + a prospect at most.|Don't think the Bruins would be too keen on trading him. Wait to sign Eichel in july 26Thanks.

What ????? A guy put up better offensive numbers by playing with better offensive players !!!!!! I don't think that's ever happened before !!!!!!I wouldn't touch him at all, career underachiever who only resuscitated his career because he was traded to a great Boston team and got to play with Pastrnak.
How did he do in Jersey? How was his performance in the playoffs with Boston once real hockey started? Stop being a Boston Homer, any team would be nuts to give up a first for him. What ?????
