Maybe a bit early but it had to be done. Buch was the first ever prospect I actually followed with this team. I wouldn’t be on this board without him. Seeing his growth since he came over in 2016 has been truly remarkable. I wish him nothing but the best of luck in St. Louis.
Had to share some of my favorite moments

I couldn’t find video of that ridiculous shot he had against Boston a few years back or the Late tying goal against Colorado our last game before the pandemic but they would also be here. Goodbye Buchy

The scrawny awkward Russian who came in barely speaking a lick of English really blossomed before our eyes as a player and as a person. I'll never forget what AV said about him looking like he'd never been in a gym before and how he kept getting scratched & his back pain he was having for lack of core strength as a rookie. To now being one of the best defensive forwards & PK'ers in the game, and playing with more heart & edge than nearly anyone on our team. He came out like a man possessed in that Washington game after the incident lmao. I followed him since his KHL days and would get up at the crack of dawn to watch him, and he was the first Ranger prospect I followed all the way through his development like that. He became a fan favourite and an absolutely hilarious guy. Everything from his monkey cellys, when he used to just awkwardly point at whoever assisted the goal LOL, mocking Elvis with the guitar, exterminating the rat, decapitating Mantha, the jokes about the TSN trade board, checking out the Carolina ice girls when he was walking out of the tunnel, all his ridiculous Instagram stories. One of the few times where I'll miss the person just as much as I miss the player.

I'll be putting together a video tribute for him in the coming days with highlights, funny Instagram stories, funny moments, etc. Love you Buch!!!

In a time of little to look forward to in terms of prospects or futures, he was a real bright spot. Not too shabby for a 3rd rounder.

Loved how he grew as a player and as a massive goofball. Had some really fun moments - the one that sticks in my head at the mo is the Mika goal with all the overpassing where Mika looked genuinely confused that Buch passed it back to him.

Best of luck to him.

Drove me crazy at times, but he truly developed into the player us fans hoped many Rangers picks before him would have.

Been following Buch since we drafted him and followed his career all through the KHL. Always been a massive fan and was thrilled when he finally came over and played well.

He’s only gotten better. Sucks to see your favorite player go.

I sincerely hate this trade and have no doubt we will thoroughly regret it.

Inventor of the resting buch face. Innovator. Son.

Amen. I’m just speechless.

If we were going to trade an absolute king like Pavel, I would be somewhat OK with it if the return was a lot better.
