just watch both play, Robertson is exceptionally gumpy as a skater and the aesthetics are worse than the results for sure, but still, a great example of why stats hardly tell the whole story

Kariya was definitely the better player. He was a top 10 forward for a few years, though his injury in his 3rd year and holdout/injury in the 4th season hurt this time frame for value.

Production-wise availability is sometimes the best ability. I went with Robertson and I can't see how it could be "Kariya and it's not even close". If they were just listed as Player A and Player B it would probably be a close poll but Kariya, Bure, Forsberg are catnip for HF board polls.
