Tbh at his age and talent level there's a chance he could be helpful pretty fast.

He's definitely not going to make the habs look faster.
Dach needs to get himself going. He was a 3rd overall pick, not a 7th rounder.

You can repeat whatever you want...Dach is struggling and is a liability all over the ice.
That’s a nice line but . . . in reality, who you play with kind of matters.

yep. Roy's chance will be next year, when Dvo, Armia, and Evans are gone. One spot will be given to Demidov of course, and one spot to a new center (Beck or Kapanen). Roy could get the other one.

They better not do that. Put him with Dvo and Gally in Slaf's current spot and put Slaf back with Cole and Nick.

He has the Patrice Brisebois issue. 98% of his game is fine. Unfortunately, he makes 1-2 significant turnovers in bad places per game that results in goals against. He's -5 in his last 3 games, and a lot of that is due to poor play by him. His IQ is a huge question mark.
He has played with the team's best players at a cost that I would argue has caused alot of this team's struggles. He is -18...that has to be close to worst in the league.
Yeah, that was proven when Slaf no longer had to carry Dach's amazing 'fancy stats'. Laine would be much better served to come back and play with players who can help him get going, not someone who will drag him down.

Roy is the type of complimentary player that can compliment a player like Laine that likes to have the puck on his stick - if Roy can be fast enough to keep up with the pace.
