Who knows.. but if I'm Laine, considering the hell ive gone thru in Winnipeg and Columbus, Im not in any rush to sign with a new team. If he finds his game on a consistent level for the remainder of this season, hell ink a team friendly deal in the summer

I enjoyed everyone else in CBJ boards but that guy.

He's great, if only Newhook and Dach weren't so useless. Laine has 1pt at even strength and on pace for -45.

I know people are 'angry' about the Dach and Newhook trades but Laine + Monahan trades were huge steal by Hughes. Maximizing cap space into top assets.
