This looked true at the beginning of the year. At 4-Nations, though, he went in the media to say that at last he had linemates that made sense. I'm not convinced he fits in the culture HuGo are building.He brings decent value to the team as a pure PP triggerman. Makes no sense to trade him away.
He seems to click well with the team too, i think he's happy here.
Although I acknowledge that when your PP1 is constituted of Demidov, Suzuki, Hutson and Laine (+ Caufield or Slaf), it ought to be good. It's sure Laine brings something unique, but for all he leaves on the table, I think HuGo will be inclined to flip him. At 5 on 5, he doesn't really fit on a line with Demidov, except if you insert a very responsible two-way center between them to take charge of the backchecks and defensive chores.
