Amazing how this spin just spun.

This is a low risk win-win (the winner here is MTL and MTL).

Now the fans and media are confident in the following:

He will play in the top 6

He will score 30 goals and eventually return to 40.

He will be on PP1 "lighting it up".

He will be embraced by the MTL media.

He is no longer the Laine with baggage.

Come on. This is a wild turn of events. Forget what was just said about him on his two previous teams. Now he's going to reach his potential and loved in MTL?!
