I wish PT had worked for me. I tried losing weight which is impossible when you get pins and needles down both legs and then sciatica shows up. I can walk as long as it is slow and not up hill and if I want to go more than 2 miles I have to sit and rest. I also know that I will pay for longer walks the next day.

I have bulges at L4-L5 and L5-S1. L4-L5 is the problem child. On top of this I have issues with the facet and this is what is pressing on my nerves. I've had 50/50 luck with trigger point injections but those only last a few weeks. At this point the only conservative treatments left are a guided epidural or ablation of the nerve which is what I am leaning towards. I'll know more in August.

I don't know how he played on a hernated disk unless they shot him up with some real high test stuff.

Ya it can get pretty bad, I dealt with it for several years but thankfully it's pretty good now. I always have to be mindful of it though. Good luck to you , the advice I was given and what eventually worked for me was to keep doing the physio. It's hard to stick with it because in the beginning it seems to make matters worse and then no progress and then all of a sudden things started getting better and then quickly I was able to start doing all the things I couldn't do for years.

I don't know how Bergy played with a herniated disc either. As much as I would love to play again I wouldn't even try at this point.

next to the bench
I didn't want to out you, or be presumptuous. But I remember your report,

🏒

Curious.

What did you, and your sister, observe of Cassidy, did you think he was a good coach ,do you think he was too hard on certain players?
I didn't see him as too hard on the players other than Carlo (a couple of times). I don't know what he was like in the locker room.:dunno:

You did not "out" me. I am sure I posted it during one off the GDTs.

For both me and @GahdenRinkRat ...We do not report everything we see or hear for several reasons. Some here hate my posts from next to the bench and call me on stuff that I see..

Also, some things do not (and should not) need to be reported to lots of people. I have respect for the guys who work for the Bs and the players themselves. I talk to a couple of the guys who work for the team at every home game. I wouldn't want them to not trust me. I am pretty sure someone there reads this board.

Anyway, we cannot see the far corner from where we sit (The Bruins get in our way) I love sitting there and love the close up view. I feel very lucky.

@DKH also has a close up view. He sits right behind the goal.

I wonder if he will even be at the awards ceremony. I haven't heard if baby Bergy #4 has been born yet.

Sound judgement. Surprise.

It would be pretty funny to see Marchand accept the Selke for Bergy if he’s unable to make it
Marchand: "Allow me to say a few words about my pal Bergy"

It does not appear Bergy will be there. Pasta was flying into Nashville today according to an article I saw online.

I would have hoped that this so called anonymous teammate would have stayed quiet. Of all the guys who deserve respect, Patrice is the top of the list. I think it is quite disrespectful. Both Bergy and Krejci will announce their decisions in due time and just because we don't know their plans, they would not string the organization along.

I am sure both have told DS their plan’s before the draft and FA

If Bergy does win another Selke it would have been cool to say that I calling it a career and gladly accept this trophy

What are the chances he accepts his Selke by zoom and uses the opportunity to announce his retirement from the NHL?

I hope Bergy stays one more season.

I will hold out hope until Bergy tells us. I respect whatever he decides.
I agree.

He owes us nothing and he owes his family everything.

I just hope he doesn‘t look back in 20 years and regret not being Captain during the 100th anniversary season.

It might mean absolutely nothing to him, but there are only a very small number of players who can say they captained an original 6 teams 100th.

It just seems like a great way to close our a HOF career.

I got a herniated disc in my mid 30's. I can't see how Bergeron will comeback
near his old level of play with it. Not long ago I read a study done about players who had disc injuries and the only players who maintained their prior levels of
performance were those who had spinal fusion surgery (Eichel type wasn't part if it).
Why risk going through what he did after the Montreal game at his age? Remember how he looked at one of his solo skates?

Its too late with Hall gone and Bruins aren't in the business of throwing money away but if I had Jacob's billions and a player like #37 being with me 20 years, I wouldn't mind signing him for $3M and LTIR him for 2023-24 RS and opening up more cap space.
