Laval Rocket: Pascal Vincent Named Laval Rocket Head Coach

What do you expect Vincent's feedback to be anyway? Except for the specifics regarding his leave of absence, I doubt it's stuff we don't know.

Hughes presser from yesterday… Guy used to be his coach, benched him so reporters asked and Hughes declined to answer. Curious about what type of coach he is and if it’s just a nothing burger out of confidentiality.

13:03, 2nd question about it (don’t go by youtube generated subtitles lol it’s making up a language)

Jean François Chaumont
Yes but he never said he didn’t consider Vincent opinion

Sure. I was curious what the crowd here was thinking because seems to me if the coach had endorsed the player the gm would have not been shy to say so. No idea if it would mean anything about the player the coach or the org either, just curious.

They can't keep him from listening to NHL offers if he gets them, obviously. That would be a total dick move. I'm not that sure he'll be getting them, though. You need to have a lot of connections and he might not have that.

They should pay him more, refuse yo let him talk to other teams, and make if up to him if he misses out. They may or may not need him but it’s worth paying an additional nhl hc salary to have an option. How many other francophone options do the habs have?
Or they should just bring back the rule where you get a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick as compensation if a team hires your assistant/AHL coach as their HC. There's still a rule like that in the NFL I think
