Dude was his coachYeah, I think it's just some dumbasses from french medias who decided to pull up his name cause he's from Quebec, otherwise he probably wouldn't have been mentioned in the presser anyway.

Yes but he never said he didn’t consider Vincent opinionHughes presser from yesterday… Guy used to be his coach, benched him so reporters asked and Hughes declined to answer. Curious about what type of coach he is and if it’s just a nothing burger out of confidentiality.
13:03, 2nd question about it (don’t go by youtube generated subtitles lol it’s making up a language)
Jean François Chaumont
Sure. I was curious what the crowd here was thinking because seems to me if the coach had endorsed the player the gm would have not been shy to say so. No idea if it would mean anything about the player the coach or the org either, just curious.Yes but he never said he didn’t consider Vincent opinion
No small feat in the AHL. Bodes well for our development programGood for him - didn't like the hire. He proved me wrong.
I'll take my crow sous vide and reverse seared.

Could be wrong but I think he will wait for the perfect scenario before returning as HC in the NHLI have feeling he'll be in Vancouver next season
They should pay him more, refuse yo let him talk to other teams, and make if up to him if he misses out. They may or may not need him but it’s worth paying an additional nhl hc salary to have an option. How many other francophone options do the habs have?I have feeling he'll be in Vancouver next season
Ouch - I don't think that approach would bode well and could impact our reputation when hiring in the future...refuse yo let him talk to other teams
Put a Pascal Vincent avatar. To make him forgive you.Good for him - didn't like the hire. He proved me wrong.

Let’s not forget—many of you were against the hiring of Vincent last year. Giving him a chance was the right approach!Gorton and Hughes have shown to consistently make the best choice possible. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt.
Best candidate to take over St.Louis next year
They sure like bald guys over thereI have feeling he'll be in Vancouver next season
Well, negotiate to keep him, in any case. The habs short list for coaches is really short.Ouch - I don't think that approach would bode well and could impact our reputation when hiring in the future
Or they should just bring back the rule where you get a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick as compensation if a team hires your assistant/AHL coach as their HC. There's still a rule like that in the NFL I thinkThey should pay him more, refuse yo let him talk to other teams, and make if up to him if he misses out. They may or may not need him but it’s worth paying an additional nhl hc salary to have an option. How many other francophone options do the habs have?
