I’m not going to post my opinion on all this but people referring to her previous ban need to understand that it was done by the IBA which is so f***ing corrupt that they are banned by the Olympics International Boxing Association loses appeal against International Olympic Committee decision
And if boxing as a whole doesn’t find a new international body, boxing is no longer an Olympic sport.
The testing on this athlete didn’t happen till after she beat a Russian athlete and the Russian run IBA banned her and said “we won’t say why or what our test was but the results mean she can’t fight”.

Boxing has been a mess for a long while and a previous ban means nothing as due to how corrupt the organization is. ESPECIALLY when they don’t state their testing method or what they looked for.
Seems to me there is a simple course of action to resolve some of the doubt.

I'm still a Ben Johnson fan *runs*

Carl Lewis was doping too it was obvious.
I am too. I hated the way he was treated when he got back to Canada. He said"I left as a Canadian and came back at a Jamaican" I found it despicable.

He came as a kid to Canada and became a citizen.

Some need to understand that once you're a citizen, you have the same rights as the one born here. Go back to Jamaica he was told..FO with that...

Carl Lewis failed a test at the Olympic trials but that was covered up. He shouldn't have been in Seoul. Cough medicine they say. Probably pseudoephedrine... Clears then lungs right up but also in the right quantities can be a stimulant like Ephedra. Ephedra has a similar molecular structure to amphetamines

Carl Lewis was wearing braces in his 20s whereas before he had perfect teeth ... tell tale sign of PED usage, several of the top sprinters at the sprint club he was a part of had braces too, they sure must love their dentist.

After Ben Johnson was caught for a few years everyone in the world forgot how to run quickly and slowed down.

You don't even need advanced stats to see how the entire field dropping in speed that much meant something was much more broad.

It is why I never had much respect for the world doping association. It seems way to selective as if they find their sacrificial lamb to take out

I liked Katzberg more before you said Skinner. lol theres nothing facially other than stache thats even close. I love the look of Katzberg because he's an "I don't give a shit about grooming" type look. Great old German brows all over the place and even a unibrow potential. Hair uncombed, Stache that just looks whatever way it grows. Love it.

Can't stand the concept of men who spend an hour in front of a mirror tweeking and preening. This guy is whatever I look like getting out of bed look. Fine broth of a lad.

ps extra points for Katzberg not even shaving on the gold medal day. Day growth look be on. I love that look. Shaving sucks, do it when you feel like it. lol

It's because of that stupid pornstash/mullet combo getting back into fashion
Anything fashion, at all, is stupid and a waste of time and effort. When I have a beard and stache it looks like Draisaitl in my avatar. When I wear a suit is never. Weddings and Probably at my funeral. My current unloved suit doesn't know how to feel about this. Abandoned in the closet in the suit bag.

"Hey you didn't tie your tie perfectly" f*** you, take a picture you'll never see me in one again. ;)

It’s wild how this dude is only 22. Look like he’s in his 30s. Summer Mcintosh as well is 17 and looks mid 20s. Kids today look so much older. Lol.
Not everybody has the testosterone level of RNH. I was shaving at 14. One other guy would grow beards in Junior high.

Not a new thing either. Go back and look at some 50's or 60's yearbooks. Kids looked OLDER back then. Really the change occurred post WW2 where dietarily kids had everything in US and Canada. People ate right and developed quickly.

I don't know man! I see Skinner in the eyebrows, eyes, stache and the smirk.
I think if I were Skinner and bumped into this guy I would feel weirded out.

side story of a personal experience.. I once bumped into a doppleganger, only difference was he had red hair. It was like looking in a mirror while tripping balls. I had this awful feeling like something in the universe wasn't right. Aka I'm very glad I do not have a twin..

I used this story with the wife once. Really I was drunk and I thought she was you. Like really. "Everything but the profile looked like you dear..."

lol thats a fib. I never did that. But this one time while shopping I was behind my wife and put my hand on her like I often do and it wasn't her...it wasn't freaking her........The same identical hairstyle and color shirt on.and derrière ..doppelganger from behind ffs. The glare I got. From the lady and the wife.

This is why we have a doghouse and no dog.

When he won the gold, I remember the sportscast guys proclaiming, "Ben Johnson, the Canadian sprinter has won gold in Tokyo!"

The next day or so, after the doping tests allegations and tests were confirmed and he was stripped of the medal, the sportscasters would proclaim, "Ben Johnson, the Jamaican who came to Canada as a child, has been stripped of the Gold medal."

Will never forget that turn of vernacular.

Canada's women's beach volleyball duo of Melissa & Brandie knock out the #2 in the world American team in the Round of 16.
Love it. Melissa was part of the team that won the World Championships a few years ago (different partner then).

Great strategy by them serving the 6'4 American and not her 5'6 partner. Awesome win.

In indoor men's volleyball, the US vs. Brazil quarterfinal was amazing volleyball. The US is rolling, Micah Christenson showing again why he's one of the best setters in the world.
