He is insane and so calm . Love that kid .sick crossover SGA
i think any sex scene in any film is "gratuitous" and almost always unnecessary.... unless said film is The Terminator, in which case it is pivotal to the plot.3) I don't watch WWE, but I am against gratuitous nudity in popular films and shows, particularly those aimed at kids. There are contexts where nudity can work, for example in a war film, or in an earned sex scene in a film, but in general it's a cheap gimmick.

Team should just tell them to eff themselves and take the next plane home.Basically eliminated them without eliminating the remaining games. Everyone is happy except Canada.
Stupid move by Canada's coaching staff. It's not even needed. Exaggerated punishment though.
I'm not Christian, but I find that disgusting. Especially coming from people who are pretending to be woke, mocking a religion in from of millions of people is not very inclusive...
Basé as usual, Toene.Organized religions deserve to be mocked.
Shoving people sexualities in your face? When you see bikini wearing-babes in the arms of men in WWE shows, or in movies, wherever, do you find that heterosexuality is shoved in your face? Or does it only go one way for you?
It was disgustingly beautiful ya.The Marie Antoinette part was disgusting
Did you just equate ones sexual disposition with another's faith?-That's your opinion. I'm sure you have things that are important to you that you don't think should be mocked. Should LGBT people be mocked? Maybe that's your sacred cow.
-Bikini-clad babes at WWE shows (as an example, since they don't really do that much anymore) are meant to appeal to the target demographic, which is primarily men. No one complains about them because the audience actually want to see that.
-As to mockery of religion, cool. Go burn an effigy of the prophet Mohammed at a pro-palestinian protest in downtown Montreal and see how that goes.
-I choose which movies I watch. I don't tune into a the opening ceremony of a sports competition expecting to see some dude's nutsack hanging out.
It wasn't about Christianity but about Greek Gods. It represents The Feast of the Gods painting by Van Biljert.
Philippe Katerine, the french singer in blue at the front, represents Dionysus, the god of wine-making, orchards and fruit, vegetation, fertility, festivity, etc... as in the painting you can see Dionysus in the front with grapes. At the center of the table with the crown, it isn't Jesus but Apollo.
This is a B.S they came up with after the backlash, even France TV confirmed it was la Cène, in a now deleted tweet.
If you want the stay angry about something you didn’t understand, go on.
Everything about the show was french. What is french about la Cène? Also, Philippe Katerine is dressed as Dionysus. As far as I know, Dionysus isn't in la Cène!
I think the main problem is that TV broadcasts around the world didn’t receive the description of each part of the show and people were just left guessing.
We have a participant confirming it was inspired from la Cène, maybe he did not receive enough informations too...
It was tastelessThe ceremony was not nearly as demonic as some of you made it out to be. Sloppy, not particularly aesthetic, somewhat boring… sure.
The French Republic is built on her severed head, of course they’ll celebrate it any chance they have.
Yeah Cronenberg films tend be way out there, but i still think simulating sex on film never works. It's simply not believable, almost always cringeworthy and basically ruins it. If you've spent any time on a movie set, everyone including the actors are looking to get it over with asap..Or if the movie has sexuality as a major theme. Crash from David Cronenberg would be a good example or sexual/erotic thrillers.
Imagine being the team and not aware that the coaches were doing this..... If I were a player in such a situation, losing my chance at an olympic medal I would kick all the coaches in orbit around planet Mars.Basically eliminated them without eliminating the remaining games. Everyone is happy except Canada.

More importantly, they know THEIR history and THEIR culture more than us. Well, more than MOST of us anyways.Frenchs knows culture, art and history way more than us and the French kids knows history a lot from a young age.
Certainly not going to reopen this thread to find out, gonna wait for the Olympics: Sports and Medals Discussion Thread. It's almost as if something's overshadowing the sports themselves. Wonder what?
It was greatIt was tasteless
Good win in BasketballSo what about those Olympics guys? Any sports and medals?
