Drai was easily the best player. Not many gave a shit.

McDavid tried I guess. Mooch Hopkins and co were just there

Guys like drai must die inside watching how non chalant some of these guys are at hockey

McDavid was fully in “i won’t shoot, so I’ll just turn it over instead” mode today.

Leon was the only guy on the ice with a modicum of give a shit. Darnell was a joke, he better not enter one of this patented 5-15 game stretches where he’s borderline unplayable.

Predictable result. I predicated a loss before the game and they were done early in the 2nd, you could see that they had nothing in the tank.
McDavid not scoring on the breakaway at 2-0 was the turning point. It's looking more and more like an Oilers-Kings 1st round AGAIN at this early juncture. Boring

Bolded will be an unwatchable turd no matter the result

Pissing away points against one of the worst teams in the League.

We havent played great since coming back from Xmas. Would have been nice to squeeze out a point if one bad goal didn’t go in though. Oh well; that’s why Picks is the back up.

We sucked the last 4 or so games before Christmas too but won a few in spite of ourselves.

Im done with Podz on the second line. His effort and puck retrieval are great- his 3 goals are not. He doesn’t have the offensive skill to be a second line player
It’s true. We don’t have another option outside of what, Janmark?

Rough weekend of hockey with Canada Juniors losing to Latvia and the Oilers losing to LA and Anaheim back to back. I think I’ll take a bit of a break from hockey
told everyone Hockey in Canada would die if the Country doesn’t get behind the Oilers and cheer for a Cup to come
Home.

And now look what happens, getting torched by f***in Latvia.

If this team is being distracted by parent trips they need a slap.

You’re adults. Do the job.

I really hope they aren't, but I can't figure out what excuses they can continue to come up with for such inconsistency

They have the horses to run away with the division, and yet these piss away points to trash like the Ducks to make their lives harder. Yesterday's game was also another point pissed away to a meh Kings team. Doesn't make sense.

I’ll take heat for this but can we trade Bouchard for someone who actually plays like they care

Hickey Canada is doing bad cause they left most of their talent off the team.

Probably the best example of Leon’s game was the penalty he drew against Fabbri.

He got isolated high on the half wall. Fought tooth and nail to keep the puck. Nobody supported him at all, didn’t even give him an escape pass opportunity. So he keeps fighting and outmuscles Fabbri until he’s forced to take a penalty as a result of him being stronger.

Yeah, true. Would have had two points yesterday if Stu was better, but I guess that's why he's the starter (because they refuse to get anyone better and have these two slotted where they should be: Stu as 1B and Pickard in the AHL)

If we sign Skinner and Bouchard to big dollar long term deals, we are so screwed.

Still need D and Goaltending. It sucks to see Colorado constantly making moves while we keep doing the same thing with the same people.
