All three are digging for pucks, second line too for that matter.
I feel like that’ll be much better for playoff time. People won’t believe it till it happens, but all Marner can do is build playoff habits, and I’d say that is a strong one to have

If Marner had played any rec slo-pitch before, the Avs wouldn't have gotten the chance to go and score that 3rd goal.

This wasn't the Leafs best game, I pray they don't become intoxicated by the goals and move away from what has been their forte: strong D, forecheck and patience.

Keefe has kept them focused. Based on his media comments he understands how important it is to remain consistent. I won't be fooled again, but, this team feels different. More complete and balanced.

I prefer a tight, solid 3-0 win, only because we all know scoring 6+ a game is fools gold, and trying to do so often leads to a defensive sacrifice.

Board quiet lately.

I guess if Leafs only score 7 next game people can come back to talk about how we regressed.

This fan base is sleeping on what a force everywhere on the rink Marner has become, the guy disrupted and won pucks with tenacity, apart from finesse and making plays, just dominant.

He's becoming more of the Marner we've come to know. The two assists on Matthews goals were vintage Marner. When he's moving his feet, you know it's going to be a good night for him.

Just hope that he pots a PP goal here soon as I think that will give him more confidence than anything else.

It didn't need a complete game to win, the team played well enough. Good game.

Great first period, came out with legs, bowled them over early and capitalized on our chances

Atrocious second period, got run over for long stretches

??? third period, Colorado visibly gave up after the opening goal

Jack Campbell should never pay for another meal in this city ever again, and neither should Jonas Johansson for that matter.

Not just Marner, the whole team is building playoffs habits.
At least one player on each line is driving to the net.
Matty, could be his wrist injury are scoring goals around the net instead of with his shot.
Willie is becoming a true two way beast.
JT is doing great.
Kampf is the unsung hero bc he just takes care of all the Dzone faceoffs.
