GDT: Parade & Rally - Monday, June 16th; (TV and Webcast Info Post #1)

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. KTLA will have live coverage of the parade beginning at 10AM PDT. Possibly streaming live here: http://ktla.com/watch-live

Fox Sports West will have live coverage of the parade AND rally beginning at 11AM PDT.

NBC4 will have live parade coverage beginning at 11AM PDT and an online stream will be available at this link: http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/l...-Parade-Celebration-NHL-Hockey-263270791.html

KCAL9 and CBSLA.com will also be covering the parade. Coverage begins at 11 a.m. with a pre-parade celebration.

The parade will also be aired on NHL Network and nhl.com beginning at 11AM PDT.

Kings Live replay of the night the Kings won the Cup will air on FSW from 9AM-11AM (estimated).

Based on 2012 coverage, your best viewing bet is KTLA if you don't get FSW. KTLA did a great job with their 2012 coverage. If you get FSW, that will be the best as it will also include the rally, which only FSW has rights to broadcast.

im looking on my Directv guide right now and i dont see anything about the parade coverage on FSW or any other news outlet...am i missing something? Im at work and trying to set my DVR so i can watch it when i get home tonight

TWC is showing that FSW will be televising the parade and rally beginning at 11 am. Some networks don't update their guides timely.

That drives me nuts because when i set the DVR it only sets it for as long as the current program is supposed to go.

I'll give them another 30-45min and see if the update the guide before i try and start programming it.

I dont watch a lot of TV aside from sports or my sons cartoons so i dont know how well advertised the parade was but im thinking its gotta be more considering we just in 2012 so all those new/bandwagon fans should be in greater numbers.
 
Its such a struggle to sit here to watch KTLA 5...i cant watch the FSW coverage until i get home tonight. The coverage is a little awkward...some guy is shaving his playoff beard on live TV....yea....thats where we're at right now.
