This reminds me of all the agony when Detroit "didn't play AA enough" and ended up trading him to Edmonton.

Amazing that this team hasn't had a 40 goal scorer since 2009!!! WTF is up with that?

Well we haven't had anyone close to a pure goal scorer like that since then.

Based on eye test alone, Vrana was probably the closest thing, but extenuating circumstance led to him being traded for a handshake. But even his career high in goals is 25.

Sure, Hagg and Oesterle have been more than adequate replacement for him.
