These games are beginning to become a chore to watch.

Hellebuyck looks tired.

Our defensive zone coverage is poor.

Three breakaways.

Multiple odd man rushes.

We are too easy to play against.

No wonder the Florida fans were laughing at us.

Samberg had a really bad game.

Also, you know what? I get it. Maybe Svechnikov wouldn't be good on the powerplay. Can we at least give it a shot? What the absolute f*** has Sanford done to be able to walk right onto it when Svech has never gotten a chance?

Appleton should be moving down the lineup, not up.

When Lowry was named replacement, we had like, what? Nearly two weeks off or something due to covid stuff, and we just practiced during that time? I kept thinking, "Good. Not often a replacement coach gets this amount of time to instill their own ideas and system". Almost like a mini camp mid-season to change it up. Boy was I wrong. It actually got even worse it feels like. I love this team but they are rarely if ever ready at the first whistle. Especially when they have a few days off, despite even when the other team doesn't. Don't think I'll ever know unless I'm sitting in that room. Oh well, onto to Tampa.
Did they get to practice? So many rules to the downtime stuff.

I honestly doubt they asked for Wheeler. He's such a miserable interview that nobody wants to deal with it.

It just causes controversy.
Reporters know that they are not going to get shit from him at this point, its like tryin to get blood from a stone. They probably wont ask for him again this season, they will just wait until the post season exit interviews so they dont have to deal with his pissy attitude toward the media any more than they have to.

That and the media gets turned into a boogeyman every time they interview Wheeler.

Beyak should tell him to open the calculator on his phone and ask him to give a % chance of making it to the playoffs.
Beyak was spouting playoff bullshit right along with him tonight. Do they not realize how frustrating it is to listen to that shit especially when the team lays an egg like they did tonight.

Nobody watching the game is stupid enough to believe this team has a shot at the playoffs and it is insulting for them to pretend otherwise.

Ehlers telling it like it is in the post game interview.

"Captain" Wheeler is a no show again.

Interviews are based on who the reports ask for. Since Wheeler just came out of injury, probably no one asked for him.

You are correct.

Proves to me that Wheeler should not be captain.

So he would have been a bad captain if he refused to show up for the interview but he is also bad and a bad captain because the media didn't ask for him. It's like when the gf is intent on picking a fight... will complain if you didn't do the dishes, and if you did the dishes will complain about how you didn't do them the way she likes them done.

This is an example of starting off with a conclusion and then working backwards to make all "evidence" (old and new) fit that conclusion.
